This custom towing mirror replaces your OEM mirror and provides the extended viewing needed for safe towing. Change lanes, merge and pass other cars with confidence. The mirror face manually rotates outward clockwise to give you an extended field of vision for towing, and it rotates back for standard use. Today we're going to take a look at that K-Source Passenger Side Flip Out Towing Mirror. This is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 2002 to 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 trucks with the manual mirror and also the 2003-2009 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks with the manual mirror. On a custom fit part I always like to recommend to go to our website, use our fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show you if this will work for your application. This part will replace your existing mirror. This will flip out for towing. Basically the mirror face you can see here will rotate outward clockwise to give you an extended field of vision. By doing that you don't have to worry about carrying any extra mirrors and storing them. It also eliminates the annoying vibration that is found with the temporary slip on or strap on towing mirrors. This does have the convex spotter mirror, right down here.
It's inset on the mirror face. This helps reduce the blind spots even more. Makes it very easy to pass, change lanes, and park with a trailer in tow. When you're not towing you can flip that mirror back down toward the vehicle and it gives you a nice convenient garage storage when not in use. As you notice it operates manually. The design of this mirror is designed to match the OEM style for good looks. This part does include the one passenger side mirror. I do want to give you some specs on this. We're going to give you the dimensions of the mirror face, itself.
The width on it is going to be right at 10" wide. The height on it is right at 7" and then the spotter mirror is 3-1/2" by 3-1/2". The overall length, with it folded in, with the mirror folded in like this from about here to here is 17-1/2". When you flip it out for towing, from here to here, is going to be right at about 22". This mirror does meet the federal motor vehicle safety standards. That should do it for the review on the K-Source Passenger Side Flip Out Custom Towing Mirror. .

George, these mirror look fantastic and feel solid as OE mirrors. They were a breeze to install after watching a video on U-tube. Unwrapping the carefully boxed mirrors and installing them and putting my tools away I was done in less than an hour. I am very happy so far. Thanks.
I have enjoyed having these mirrors vs the stock non extending ones. They have increased my visibility greatly.
I do wish I had opted for the ones with power but it’s not a must. I would buy them again.
