Get maximum traction off-road and in winter conditions for your heavy dually truck. Grooved links and diamond pattern offer more traction and a smoother ride than traditional chains. Mounts easily with built-in tensioners.

Features:

  • Provides excellent traction for your dually truck in mud, snow, and ice
    • Square links are grooved to dig into deep snow, mud, and ice better than traditional square links
    • Diamond pattern offers constant traction and a smoother ride than ladder patterns
  • Tightens around tire quickly with built-in tensioners
    • Tug front chain until cinched and secure with spring clip
    • No extra parts to lose
  • Resists corrosion thanks to titanium alloy steel construction
    • TITAN Grip steel provides excellent wear and durability

Specs:

  • Fits: 20" - 22-1/2" tires (for exact sizes, see below)
  • Quantity: 2 chains (driver's side and passenger's side)
  • 90-Day warranty

Note: To determine whether you can use snow chains on your vehicle, or if chains might affect your ABS/ESP functionality, consult your owner's manual.

These chains are outstanding in serious winter conditions because the grooved square links provide more grip than traditional square links and the diamond pattern gives you a smooth ride and excellent traction for your dually truck. So, you'll be able to work even in the toughest weather. You can also use them if you ever need to go off-road into soft soil, or if you're trying to prevent a mud-digging situation. These chains are going to help give your dually truck purchase to pull out and keep moving.

If you live in an area prone to heavy ice, we recommend studded chains that can bust through the ice and really dig in to give you maximum traction.

Confirming Your Fit

If you know your tire size, you may think you won't need to test fit your new tire chains. But there are a lot of variables that can affect whether chains will fit your specific tires, including your tire type, the amount of air pressure in the tire, the amount of tread wear, and the tire manufacturer.

We recommend that you order chains as early in the season as possible to give yourself plenty of time to test fit the chains and reorder if needed. This way, you won't be stuck out in the cold later with snow chains that don't fit.

You can test fit these chains in your garage or driveway, but you'll want to wait until there's snow on the ground to actually drive with them. Likewise, if you're out in the snow and come across bare pavement, you'll want to pull over and remove the chains. These chains can cause damage to the bare pavement, your garage floor, or your vehicle if they break from the wear of riding on a harsh surface.

Installing Tire Chains

Installing tire chains is easy.

  1. Lay out the chains on the ground to make sure there are no twists or kinks.
  2. Drape chains over the top of the tire and tuck chains as far under the wheel as possible.
  3. Drive in reverse about half a tire rotation.
  4. On the back of the tire, pull the chain tight and hook the ends together. Repeat this on the front of the tire, securing with the lever.
  5. Pull on the side chain until the entire tire chain is cinched tight. Then use the spring clip to fasten the chain, securing it tightly around your tire.

Quick Tips:

  • Lengthen the life of snow chains by drying them after each use before you store them.
  • Check out our installation kit with safety lights and a kneeling pad (PO34FRK) to make things a little easier when you're installing chains out in the snow.

How to Choose Snow Chains for Your Vehicle

To choose the right snow chain, you must match your tire size. Those measurements can be found on the side of your tire.

Tire size on sidewall

185/60-15

  1. (185) - indicates tire width in millimeters
  2. (60) - gives you the aspect ratio (sidewall height as percentage of width)
  3. (15) - denotes the diameter of the wheel rim in inches
