The Aries Oval Nerf Bars are a great product. They look great and are really functional. Easy to install!!
Packing material showed signs of abuse. Many small scratches and digs in the paint. Product seems to be made of quality materials and installation was easy as advertised. Fit was very good. The damage was due to improper handling by the shipper. Overall I it give 4 stars only because of careless handling.
This product is great. I installed these running boards on my last truck and they lasted good so I installed them on my new truck. I like the fact that the plastic steps can be replaced when worn out.
Even though e trailer didn't have my black step rails in stock, they were able to arrange quick delivery direct from the manufacturer. No wait time at all. Obviously very organized company.

These have held up well. They sit a little close under the doors. With doors closed it is tight with boots on. Couple of the brackets were mislabeled for where they mount to. Led to an additional 30 mins trying to figure out what was going on. Good product for the price.
The package was delivered quickly but was surprised how badly UPS tore up the package in only 90 miles. Hate to see what it would be like going across country. Nothing damaged though. Installation was super easy and the nerf bars look great. Very happy with them.
I've had these nerf bars and they have been great. They were very easy to put
onto my 2008 F150. My wife said that they've been great for her when she has a
skirt on to get into the pickup easier.
One year and about 18,000 miles with the bars installed. Finish still looks as good when installed. They look great and are functional.

Well, it was my first time installing Nerf Bars. I studied the instructions, and for a half hour or so........was this complicated? Then I started to install, and man-o-man, it was EASY once I got into it. The Aries Oval Nerf Bars are excellent on my new truck. You guys where great, what with keeping me informed of where and when the nerf bars would be delivered. I am very glad I got them from you!!!!!!!!!!!!

The bars look great on the truck and they seem very sturdy. I was disappointed they arrived with some dents in them. The black color looks great with the black rims on the white truck! I thought about getting step down boards and now I’m so glad I get these instead!
This is how you do it- I cancelled an order with another company Wednesday for some nerf bars ( after a week they said August), I found what I wanted and ordered from etrailer Wednesday and was delivered Friday and installed within a hour! Impressed!
These nerf bars were well packaged, and arrived quickly. I actually followed the instructions, and they were simple to install.
I re-orqued the bolts after 500 miles, and double check them after my oil changes. They still look great, and function well. The only "downside", if there is one, is the way a puddle resonates splashing against the metal tubes. Just took us a little bit to figure out what was causing the sound. Sealed tubes, so I can't easily install baffles, but the sound really is not an issue.
Fit was perfect. I'm glad I selected the 4" bars. The only complaint was the instructions. The photos were not much help, so we eventually figured it out. Look good and work good. Nice value.
Great alternative to running boards that clamp on to the body sheet metal.
Im a little apprehensive when ordering from new vendor but due diligence revealed etrailer had a good reputation and better than some other places I looked at ordering the same steps. Order went without a hitch and it wasn't long before my pkg arrived relatively unscathed.
The bars appear to be good quality steps with one minor ding below the pad on the driver side that was obviously done at the factory and shipped out. I don't think anyone will notice but me so I kept the bars and got busy with the installation. The directions are OK but could be better. It didn't take long to get the mounts installed first then the bars and tightened everything up to factory specs. I waxed the bars following the recommendation on the instruction sheet and they look great on my glacier blue Silverado. The finish is pretty much a satin finish which works for me.
Every thing fit right on the money. About an hour to do the job by myself. Take off the original and replace with the new. Had a little problem with the shipping at first but all the people at etrailer stepped up to the plate and got it straightened out quick. The running boards look good on the truck also.
Super easy to install, and a nice finish that looks great on the FJ.
My FJ is a 2008 which had not previously had running boards, but had been undercoated several times over the years. I used a matching tap to first clean the threads in the factory mounts so the bracket mounting bolts could easily be installed. Total install time was about 90 minutes.
Easy peazy to put on, glad you ship to Alaska.
