16" x 6" Trailer wheel has 8 on 6-1/2 bolt pattern and 4.9" pilot diameter. Rustproof aluminum wheel has a 8-spoke design in glossy black. Steel inserts in lug nut wells secure wheel.

Specs:
This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Lionshead 16 inch by 6 inch Margay Glossy Black Aluminum Trailer Wheel with the 8 on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now, this is an aluminum wheel, it's durable, lightweight, and rustproof. We mentioned it's the Margay Series. You can see it's an 8-spoke design, has a glossy black finish, and you can see on the edge of the spokes, they do a machined edge on them, and also, the lip is machined. That machine finish gives a nice shine to the wheel.
They do use an automotive-grade clear coat finish on the front to protect it from scuffs and scratches. Now, one of the nice features I like on this wheel is they put these steel inserts, which are pressed into the lug nut wells. This help to keep the wheel securely in place on your trailer hub. Basically, when you put this up on the trailer, put your lug nuts on, go to torque your lug nuts down, those steel lug inserts will prevent the holes from wearing down over time, eliminates the need for constant re-tightening of your lug nuts. The valve stem you can see right here is included, it's pre-installed.
Now, the center cap is not included, we do sell the center cap separately if you do want one. You do wanna get a center cap that has the same diameter as this pilot hole, 'cause when you install that center cap, it goes through the hole. The pilot hole diameter right here is 4.9 inches. This wheel does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications and the SAE J1204 standards. Few dimensions we're gonna measure on this is the diameter and the width.
The diameter of a wheel is always measured inside to inside. So just to show you, if we take our tape measure and we go from the inside all the way across to the inside, you can see there's your 16 inch diameter. The width, it's gonna be the same way, inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat, six inches wide. Now, the bolt pattern on this is an 8 on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure the bolt pattern on a wheel that's an even number of lugs, like this one, eight, it's pretty easy, because the lug holes are directly across from each other.
So when you go to measure, just pick any hole, let's say this one. Measure from the center of this hole directly across to the center of the hole right across from it. So on this wheel, it's gonna measure 6 1/2 inches. So that means it's an 8 lug, 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern. This will use a wheel lug size of either 1/2 inch by 20 or 9/16 by 18. And the weight capacity on this is 4,080 pounds. But that should do it for a look at the Lionshead 16 inch by 6 inch Margay Glossy Black Aluminum Trailer Wheel with the 8 on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern.
