When you’re running through wet or salty conditions, rust can ruin a good wheel fast. This 16" x 6" galvanized steel wheel is built to fight back. The galvanized finish provides superior protection from rust and corrosion, keeping your setup looking clean and performing strong season after season. It’s a favorite for anyone who wants a wheel that lasts in tough environments.
Hauling big loads means you need gear that’s up to the job. This sturdy steel wheel meets Department of Transportation standards and carries a 3,750-lb rating when used with a properly sized tire at 110 psi. That kind of strength gives peace of mind on long runs or when your trailer is loaded to its limit.
Mounting should be simple, not a guessing game. With its 8 on 6-1/2 bolt pattern, 4.9" pilot diameter, and zero offset, this wheel fits over the hub without interference or alignment issues. Whether you’re swapping out old rims or building something new, the centered mounting surface makes install easy and predictable.
The classic steel spoke design adds strength and stability while pairing with standard wheel bolts in 1/2"-20 or 9/16"-18 sizes. The .625" valve stem hole works perfectly with metal stems like part # AM20906 that handle high pressure applications. It’s a no-nonsense wheel that pairs durability with practical details for consistent performance trip after trip.

1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Great galvanizing on the rims. Fast shipping
The item is a perfect match for the wheels on my trailer. I'm mounting a spare for my tri-axle boat trailer.
When I ordered the wheels they were out of stock but I was immediately contacted to inform me about the situation. After speaking with a representative they offered me an option of a similar product. I opted to wait for the manufacturer to send the wheels. I was very happy how they remained in contact with me and kept me updated until the product was delivered.
These rims were above my expectation. My order was shipped out quickly and arrived sooner than expected. I would recommend etrailer to anyone needing trailer parts and supplies.
Description talked about 3750 pound rating with a 110 psi tire and the valve supplied with the wheel is a rubber snap in valve only rated for 100 psi.
Haven't had a chance to have tires mounted yet as the rims just arrived but I do want to give praise to the customer service from James. He walked me through this selection discussing with me my options. James is very knowledgeable of all trailer products. He has been helpful about a return I had to make and available should I need to re-order.
True hot dip galvanized coating, will last for years. The 4 I received run true with minimal runout. Korean manufacture by Kenda. Stamped max load 4080pounds, so higher than the description and video.
No gripes but for those not aware hot dip galvanizing is just that, dipping steel in a vat of molten zinc, the coating is not as uniform as other coatings, there can be slight pooling, flashing, and what looks like drips in spots. But it will keep those coated things from rusting for a very long time.
Great trailer rim, replacing my existing rim to this galvanized 16" trailer rim for my boat trailer. Excellent customer support.
looks like a good rim nice galvanized coating. how ever the wrong valve stems installed if you plan on using a tire that requires air pressure over 65 psi
I bought one wheel two years ago and it has been subjected to all kinds of weather and condition and has held up well. I purchased 4 additional wheels to replace rusting steel wheels on the same trailer and the new wheels seemed a little rough in that the finish looks frosted in places like paint would flash from too much air pressure. Also the weld and some spots on the wheel are rough. As long as the new wheels holds up as good as the one purchased a couple of years ago I'll be happy.
Just like the other wheels on my Continental boat trailer. Satisfactory
