The steel ratchet on this sturdy tie-down has a built-in Web Clamp. The spring-loaded clamp holds unused webbing in place so it won't tangle or flap in the wind. Vinyl-coated hooks let you anchor the strap to tie-down points. 1,500 lbs Max load.

Specs:
Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Erickson Ratchet Tie-Down strap with the web clamp and S-hooks. We sell them as a one-pack in the 15 foot length. That part number is EM31350. We have it available as a two-pack in 8 foot length, part #EM31351, and even as a four-pack in the 10 foot length, part #EM31352. These tie-down straps make it very easy to secure any cargo whether its in your trailer or in your truck. They offer what's called the web clamp. This is the door that comes up.
You're able to stick your strap right underneath that and allow it to come down and hold it in place. You've got a easy to find release button there that allows us to release our oversized ratcheting mechanism. It's going to give us great leverage. It also has a nice rubber handle here so we can hold our grip. The polyester strap is 1" wide. It's going to offer us a 500 pound working load limit and a 1500 pound break strength. They have hardened steel cores that run through our S-hooks.
Give them a good durable feel and also they're very sturdy so we're not going to have to worry about bending these. They've coated them with a vinyl coating that's going to help protect any of our surfaces from scratches or abrasions. Let's secure our generator in place. We'll start by bringing our strap around. The 15 foot length makes it great for tying anything off just in a straight line, but it also works really well for these larger items to be able to go all the way around them. Here on the rear, we're just going to bring our strap right through the center of our ratchet then we just loop it right back around and push it out of the rear. It will allow us to start getting our slack out of our strap here.
Connect our hooks. Then we'll just use our ratchet to tighten this on down. Now to secure our excess strap we're just going to loop it over and we'll feed it right into the web clamp which is going to keep our strap nice and secure as we're heading down the road. We're not going to have to worry about it dragging, getting underneath our tire or anything of that nature. With our cargo secure that will complete today's look at the Erickson Ratchet tie-down strap with web clamp, part #EM31350. .

The product has been good, not great. I have had the ends of the straps start to show more wear than I believe they should.
As usual, etrailer was great in getting the product out and done accurately.
Excellent customer service--they helped me find the right carrier for my vehicle. Free shipping and super quick delivery too! I would definitely recommend this company.
The straps were what I have been looking for. A ratchet strap less than 2" with keeper hooks on both ends. The clamp for holding the excess strap is a huge improvement. I use it for securing my ATV on the trailer so I only need about 3 feet. I make a loop of the rest of the strap by wrapping it around my hand and then securing the loop with the clamp.
I use these with my cargo carrier to hold my camping gear down. Went on a recent trip this past winter and drove about 300 miles round trip and had no issues. These held my cooler, ice chest, tent and chairs down so tight they didn't even wiggle. In fact I liked them so much Im buying an extra set for use with my roof box.
Very good product and sturdy.Superb customer service from etrailer and fast shipping .
Great products, work as advertised and fast shipping.
I use these to tie down my motorcycle trike. After the first few hours they stopped stretching and held fast. I would recommend due to the fact they have saftey clips on hooks so you don't have to worry about them coming off. This should be standard on any tie down strap, but they are not.
I will be using these tie downs to secure motorcycles in my trailer. I ordered them because they have the hooks with the safety catch. I have used similar products in the past. They provide peace of mind in that I know the hooks can't be released from the anchors due to travel over rough highways. The only negative is that I thought the straps would be a bit thicker. I know from past experience these will do fine and I have used straps this thin before with no problem.
Not the best tie down straps I ever used before... You have to manually feed the strap into the ratcheting device; for the first few loops, it can easily slip off. As you get it wound around the ratcheting device, it very easily twists and gets knotted.... Not my favorite tie downs! It worked for what I needed it for, but I wouldn't really want to buy these again.
I use these primarily to tie down ATVs on my car hauler. I chose these because they were shorter, and I use about 4 per ATV. These ratchet straps are pretty good. I have noticed that since I bought them, some of them are starting to tear a little bit (at stitching points and in the middle of the strap itself). I'll probably end up buying more since they are cheap, but I wouldn't expect 1 to hold down 500 lbs alone.
I ordered a few items from etrailer.com. They shipped immediately. When I received the box of goods, I was astounded by the quality of the cardboard shipping box (very heavy duty) and how well everything was packed. Bravo to the packing guy. His/her use of extra pieces of cardboard and that staple gun is excellent.
You have an excellent site. Great products and I love the reviews. You provide all the information so I can decide what works for me.
Thanks,
Kelly
I use these straps on a utility trailer, carrying ATV's, lawnmowers, dirt bikes, etc. The web clamps alone are worth the purchase. They just make securing those tab ends so convenient. They have held up pretty well, but I do take care of them. When not in use, they are hung to dry and then rolled up and placed in a dry container in the back of the truck.
Very handy. Well made. Great value for the price.
very good
Fast shipping
Decent quality and the 15' length is very welcome. My only "complaint" is that the amount of strap given on the ratchet side is shorter than other ones I've purchased. This means that the ratchet mechanism will end up lower than what I'm used to. This may not be a problem to others, but only for those with attachment points that would cause the ratchet to end up in a inconvenient location.
Great ratchet strap that is super easy to use and very durable!
Received everything as expected and fast. I can't speak for other vehicles but etrailer has a published video for installing everything I've purchased this far.
received order on time in excellent shape. products appear to be of excellent quality
