This combo is ready for serious road time. The Provider ST225/75R15 radial tire carries a Load Range D, 8-ply rating and handles up to 2,540 lbs at 65 psi. With an M speed rating (81 mph) and DOT-compliant construction, it’s built to perform smoothly and safely at highway speeds. The double steel belts, double polyester cords, and nylon overlays keep the tread firm and stable mile after mile.
No extra shop time here. Each assembly is match mounted and balanced using laser-guided equipment to reduce vibration and tire wear before it reaches your door. That means a smoother ride from the first trip out, with less stress on the trailer’s running gear. It’s a true bolt-on setup designed so you can mount it and roll with confidence.
Corrosion doesn’t stand a chance thanks to the wheel’s e-coat primer and black powder coat finish that seal out moisture and grime. The steel modular design is sturdy, and the beveled stud holes help keep the wheel tight against the hub, eliminating the need for constant retightening of lug nuts over time.
The tread design uses sipes and open ribs that channel water away from the contact patch to improve grip in wet, snowy, or icy conditions. Combined with its bake-tested rubber compound, this tire keeps its integrity under heat and load so you get reliable traction trip after trip.

This assembly comes backed by a 2-year Platinum Plus warranty that includes complimentary roadside assistance. If you get a flat, a technician will come out to install your existing inflated spare—24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It’s real coverage that helps you stay on schedule instead of stranded on the shoulder.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Provider ST225/75R15 radial trailer tire in a load range D, mounted on this 15 inch black modular steel wheel, with the six on five and a half inch bolt pattern. Now this tire wheel assembly is ideal for stock trailers, utility trailers, and even campers. The wheel uses a nice steel wheel, has the modular design. And when we say modular design, that's the one that has the round holes all the way around the wheel.
This wheel is very sturdy and rust resistant. The wheel itself goes through a three-step finishing process, which will include a zinc phosphate bath an e-coat primer, and then a black powder coat on the outside of the wheel. And if we spin it around to the back of the wheel, they actually lightly e-coated on the inside to reduce friction, provide rust resistance. Now this wheel does use the ITR technology. I want to show you what that is.
Basically, it stands for improved torque retention and it's designed to help keep the wheel securely in place on your trailer. Basically right here where the stud holes are, their stud holes are uncoated. And then they're beveled to give you better clamp force retention. The tire on this is a radial tire. It is constructed with double steel belts, double polyester cords for a long life.
It's great for highway use and they do use a nylon tread firming belt overlay to help prevent tread separation. And the tire itself is bake tested to ensure that the rubber will hold up over time. Now, also on this tire, if I spin it around here you can see they use a nice automotive grade tread design, and it has the sipes, the sipes are those cuts that are in the tread blocks. Those sipes will help channel water away from the tire and improve traction during wet, snowy or icy conditions. Now, this is a ST tire, which stands for special trailer tire, and it is designed to couple the strength of a bias tire with the durability and stability of a radial tire.
And it is created specifically for trailers. It's not intended for use on any other vehicles. This assembly does come with a two-year platinum plus warranty, which will include emergency tire change service and other benefits, and the assembly does meet the DOT, which is the department of transportation specifications. And it does exceed the federal motor vehicle safety standards. Few specs on this, starting with the wheel. The diameter of the wheel, just the wheel is 15 inches. The width on just the wheel by itself is six inches wide. The wheel does have a bolt pattern of six on five and a half inches. And if you want to measure that on a wheel, that's an even number of lugs. Like in this case, six. It's pretty easy to do because the lug holes are right across from each other. So you just pick any lug hole. And then you measure from the center of that lug hole to the center of the lug hole right across from it. So on this wheel, it'll measure five and a half inches. So it's a six on five and a half inch bolt pattern. This wheel does use the wheel lug size of a half inch by 20. The weight capacity on just the wheel by itself is 2,830 pounds. And the pilot hole diameter, which is this large hole here in the center of the wheel, goes over the hub on your trailer. Diameter of that opening is 4.25 inches. Now the tire size, which will be stamped on the sidewall is ST for special trailer 225/75R15. The R means that is a radial tire. Section width on this is 8.8 inches. Overall diameter from the bottom to the top when it's inflated is 28.3. And this tire is a load range D which means it's an 8 ply rated tire. So it does have a maximum load capacity of 2,540 pounds at 65 PSI. And the last thing I do want to mention is most all the new trailer tires are coming through with a speed rating stamped on them now, and they stamp it on the sidewall by using a letter designation. And where you'll find that is right after the size we just went over, you'll see two numbers for a load index, and at the very end of that, there'll be the letter M, speed rating M, will stand for 81 mile per hour speed rating. But that should do it for the review on this Provider ST225/75R15 radial trailer tire in a load range D mounted on this 15 inch black modular steel wheel with the six on five and a half inch bolt pattern..

I needed a spare tire for my trailer and I wanted the rims to match. I saw this and took a chance. Lo and behold they matched perfect. The tire is even better than the ones that came with the trailer. I also got the mounting bracket/carrier. The bolts that came with the bracket were way to long so I went and got some shorter grade 5 bolts and ta da looks good, works great.
Quick shipping. Whole purchase process was quick and easy! Rim came with a few scratches on it, may have to touch it up so it doesn't rust... (possibly due to the fact, they ship it without any box or protection), but since it is for a spare tire, that is not a problem for me. Overall the tire looks great!
The Taskmaster Provider ST205/75R 15 On Silver Mod - 5/5 is an excellent radial tire/wheel combo for the price! Purchased to use as a spare on my 8' x 12' foot flat bed/utility trailer. This purchased wheel matches my current wheels and once my current ST205/75D (biased) tires wear out, I plan to replace with the radial tire version purchased here via etrailer.com
I needed to replace all four tires on my camper. Etrailer made that easy for me by providing information online as to tire specifications and hub configuration. Pricing with rims included was very competitive even against tire discounters who offered tires only. Mounted tires were shipped (free shipping) promptly and delivered to my door by UPS. Each tire was individually boxed and had the proper inflation. Easily swapped out the tires in my driveway yesterday saving me a lot of rigamarole running back and forth with the camper to have new tires mounted. Picture attached.
I’m a returning customer because of the service and prices. 5 stars
Best price I could find on line or going to different stores + free shipping!! This is a spare for my trailer dolly great to pull my cobra kit car!!
All 5 tires showed up each boxed separately. Free shipping and had them within a week. Their customer service kept me informed as to where in the process my order was. Would definitely order from etrailer.com again.
It's a spare tire. Very round. Came well packaged in a cardboard box.
I'm giving 2 stars because I ordered this tire and rim combo and when it arrived the tire was the correct brand but the rim was incorrect. The rim was supposed to be an ARC brand and powder coated. The rim that arrived was made by Maxion and it was acrylic enamel. etrailer took the tire and rim combo back after I explained the issue. Fast forward a few months I was shopping for the rim and tire combo shown above and it showed instock. I ordered it and when it arrived the same thing happened. What I received was not what was pictured. Again I was ordering the ARC rim and Provider tire and I received the Maxion rim and Provider tire. So I called again and it sounds like the person that received the return just put the tire and rim combo back on the shelf even though I explained in detail to the person on the phone it was mislabeled. I know etrailer has had the ARC rim and Provider tire combo because I've ordered one from them before. I give the customer service kudos for trying to help me but its too bad there was a communication break down between the person answering the phone and the person accepting the returns. The tire and rim pictured is correct to what I was trying to order. What I was trying to order was even in their video describing the product. The ARC rims has a little round gold sticker with the letters ARC.
Purchased this tire/wheel combo as a spare for my utility trailer. I was amazed at the speed of delivery and the perfect match to the wheels I currently have on the trailer. I also purchased a Master #262DAT spare tire carrier lock and Wishbone #A20WB 4-way wire combo from etrailer. com. Unfortunatly, etrailer did not carry a spare tire carrier that suited my needs so I built my own, everything installed perfectly. I am extremely please with the products and customer service I received from etrailer. Will definitely purchase from etrailer again as the need arises.
Quick shipping. Exactly what I ordered
My 2011 trailer came with these tires on it never had a tire problem for 10 years and still have them around as spares. So they will be good on my 2020 trailer.
Exactly what I ordered but even better. They not only mounted and inflated the tire/wheel; they also balanced it. Thank you etrailer !
just as advertised
Perfect match! Better tire then what came with the trailer! Fast shipping! Great customer service!
Never thought I would order a spare wheel/ tire on the web. Etrailer made it easy! Shipped fast and arrived early. Also arrived in perfect condition. Exactly what I needed and a great price… thanks!
First time ordering from this website & thus far I’m impressed! Turnaround time from ordering to shipment was super fast. Product was as described & package came ready to go right out of the box!! I will definitely consider this place when ordering anything for one of my trailers in the future. My only problem was the price seemed a bit high. I couldn’t give a half star but felt 4.5 stars would’ve been more suitable
Excellent price on a great tire and rim. Matches perfectly to the tire and rim I had to replace. Fast shipping too.
