Features to know about

Built for Heavy Loads and Real Highway Speeds: Load Range G with 81-mph Rating

This tire-and-wheel assembly is made for serious hauling. The Provider ST235/80R16 radial has a 14-ply rating and handles 3,640 lbs at 110 psi. It’s matched to a heavy-duty 16" x 6" steel wheel rated at 3,860 lbs. The M speed rating (81 mph) and DOT compliance mean it’s ready for long runs on the highway without worry about heat buildup or tread separation.

Tough Finish That Beats Back Rust: 3-Step Powder-Coated Steel

Corrosion doesn’t stand a chance. The steel wheel goes through a zinc phosphate bath, e-coat primer, and baked-on silver powder coat on both sides. That finish locks out moisture and road salt so it keeps looking sharp season after season. The center disc is spun-formed from fine-grained steel and welded in place for strength you can count on.

Dual Setup Ready Right Out of the Box: Built-In ±5.35" Offset

The hub-piloted design with a ±5.35" offset makes this assembly work as either the inner or outer wheel in a dual configuration. It centers on the hub for precise alignment and uses flange nuts (sold separately) for installation. The 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern and 4.77" pilot diameter match common dual setups, so fitment is straightforward when you’re setting up both sides of an axle.

Radial Construction That Runs Cool and Lasts Longer

Provider radials use double steel belts and double polyester cords with nylon overlays to reinforce the tread. That design keeps rolling resistance low and helps prevent heat buildup for longer tread life and smoother towing at speed. Each tire is bake tested to be sure the rubber holds up over time, even under heavy loads and hot pavement.

Added Confidence on the Road: Platinum Plus Warranty with Roadside Assistance

Every assembly comes backed by a 2-Year Platinum Plus warranty that includes complimentary roadside assistance. If you get a flat, help is available 24/7 to swap it out with your inflated spare so you can get rolling again fast. It’s peace of mind that rides along on every trip.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Video Transcript for Choosing the Right Trailer Tire: A Manufacturers Guide

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here from etrailer. And today, I'm at NATM. And this convention brings a lot of the vendors that we have at etrailer to a convention where we have their booths and their products set up. I had a chance to catch up with quite a few of 'em, so let's take a look at their products a little bit up close and ask some of the questions to those vendors about their products. I'm here with Bill from Taskmaster. Bill, what is Taskmaster Taskmaster is a tire and wheel company.

It was founded in 1985 by Tom Walker. We put trailer tires and wheels into the OE market as well as in the aftermarket. Trailer tires, you know, obviously, trailer's been around for a while. Where did it start and where is it now Some of the first trailers built, most of 'em had used tires on 'em. And as the trailers got bigger and more sophisticated, so did the tires.

From used tires to bias ply tires to some of the state-of-the-art, you know, radials that are put on them today. And so you guys have a few different lines of tires to cover a few different things. So let's take a look at those and break 'em down. Okay, great. So this is our Rambler trailer tire.

This tire is your do-it-all tire. Comes with eight, 32nds of tread. It's a very durable tire. It's made for every one. This is our entry-level tire, but this will do all the same things that any of our tires will do.

So you see you got a side-by-side loaded up, utility trailer, perfect application for it. Bill Yeah, we designed this tire to be used by everyone. Makes sense. This is our Strider trailer tire or our middle tire in our lineup. This tire is designed for just a little bit heavier of an application, big campers, big boats. This tire, it does come with 10, 32nds of tread. This tire is made to haul a heavier load. Brad Makes sense. So if you're loaded up with an RV or a toy hauler or something along those lines, this would be something they'd look at Yeah, with the 10, 32nds of tread versus the eight, 32nds of tread on the Rambler, it's made to just be put in a more using application where it is used more often. Fair, so would this fall into a category too if someone had maybe a light-duty work trailer that they use every day, would this be a good application You could, yep. This tire absolutely could be used every day. Okay. Now, where's the Provider fall in the line The Provider tire is our best-in-class tire. This tire's backed with 20 years of performance. If you're using your trailer every day, if you've got extreme demands on your trailer, this is the tire for you. It was built with the highest level of end user demand in mind. Makes sense, so this is, obviously, having a picture of heavy equipment on here. So this is gonna be high loads, you know, anything heavy equipment, but also you're beating up your trailer, you're using it hard. Yeah, that's right. This is as good as it gets in the trailer tire world. If you're gonna put your trailer under extreme stress and high demand, this is the tire you wanna use. So you guys offer not only tires but also assemblies with the wheel already pre-installed, correct That's right, we can sell tires, we can sell wheels, and we can sell assemblies as you see here. All of our stuff is mounted on match-mounting equipment, state-of-the-art equipment that matches the tire and the wheel together. If you'll see the two points on the tire right there, that's how automotive tires are mounted. So on your personal vehicle, you see that type of thing. We're the only ones in the trailer market that will mount an assembly like that and have the capabilities of doing that. And that's nice too because, you know, say you're just replacing one tire and, you know, instead of having to take that wheel off, take it to a shop to get mounted and balanced, you can just get the assembly. Take a few lug nuts off, pop it back, and you're ready to go. That's right. It can be as easy as that. That's nice. So having those options regardless if you have tires that are worn out or you want whole new assemblies to be able to replace all of 'em, Taskmaster has a whole wide range of tires that you can pick from. Huge thanks to Bill for taking the time to break those tires down for us and thanks for watching. Thanks.

Taping some foam to the wheel mounting surface would do wonders to keep from having to paint brand new wheels that had the paint scratched off.

It took a while to receive my order which is the new normal, I was impressed by the regular updates I received of the status of my order. I understand you can’t ship something you haven’t received, but the updates made it seem more personal for a online order. Thanks

by:

Shipping was fast!!!!! Love how much thicker the material is on these wheels. I bought these to replace some ebay wheels that keep leaking on the welds. So far so good. [Thumbs Up]

by:

Great product and fast shipping. Although it came with a half metal, half rubber valve stem and I have found that it’s neccessary to have a full metal valve stem with a 110psi tire and the temperatures they can reach.

by:

When I found your web page I was a little skeptical, the pricing on the tires and rims was good but I figured the shipping would kill us getting 8 tires and rims to Alaska. I was wrong, it was way less than I figured. I will definitely order from you folks again!
Thanks, you saved us a lot from what it would cost us up here.

by:

I haven't installed the wheels and tires on my trailer axles yet. I like what I received they work as good as they look I'll be well satisfied.

by:

Excellent set of wheels and rubber.

Also
I converted electric brakes (all four) to server motor powered hydraulic (caliper). They operate in either forward or reverse.

Rather impressive.

by:

I had a double blow out and one of my rims cracked. So I ordered these and they look great. I plan on installing them on my gooseneck this weekend. The four lighted 7 way plugs are awesome. I am slowly changing all 15 of my trailers over to these plugs. In the daytime it's hard to tell if everything is working or that a fuse hasn't blown, so these lighted plugs help you trust your connection. Thanks for the great pricing and prompt shipping.

by:

Tire and wheel combo fit perfect. Workmanship on the wheel was better than the factory wheel I was replacing. The tire looks to be a heavy duty tire but only time will tell. This tire and wheel combo was installed on a 2017 Trailmax TD40T Tilt Trailer. etrailer has a lot of great info and there prices where the best I could find. The best part was that the tire wheel combo showed up in 2 days, that is some quick shipping.

by:

Received the tires in 5 day and they bolted right on to my 10 ton trailer, these are some good looking tires!

as described and expected
