This lightweight aluminum wheel stands out with its gloss black finish and machined spokes. Snap-in red inserts sit flush in the design for a sharp, custom look that’s easy to update. It adds style without needing paint or extra work, giving your setup a finished appearance that turns heads wherever you pull up.
Built from aluminum, this wheel won’t rust or chip over time. It stays clean through weather, water, and road grime without needing a protective coating. The lighter material also means you’re not hauling extra weight, making it a practical upgrade that holds up season after season.
When you’re carrying gear or heavy loads, the AM06 wheel has the strength to handle it. Each rim is rated up to 1,900 lbs, plenty for typical weekend or work hauling without stressing the wheel. You get solid support and confidence every time you hit the road.
The standard 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern makes installation straightforward. Just line it up and bolt it down using 1/2"-20 wheel bolts—no measuring or modifications required. With a 3.19" pilot diameter and 14" x 5-1/2" rim size, it fits right in where you need it without surprises.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this aluminum AM06 Series black machined trailer wheel with red inserts. Now this lightweight aluminum trailer wheel is going to do a great job of resisting rust, and it features a gloss black finish with machine spokes, and that's gonna add just enough contrast to stand out without being over-the-top. And if you notice, this also includes easy-to-install red inserts that are gonna add a bold accent to your setup. Now, I already have these inserts installed. You're going to get the wheel and the inserts in a separate box and then you'll have to install them.
But I just wanted to show you how easy these are going to be to install. This one I don't have secured with the bolts. The wheel will have bolts that you'll need to remove, and then the inserts will come with another set of bolts as well if you wanted to put in a newer set of bolts. But all you have to do is, once you remove the bolts, you'll just slide that insert in just like that. And then it comes with this theft deterrent tool.
And then I'm just gonna go ahead and secure this into place with the tool. And so it's going to be a very easy install. And what's nice about this is if you ever want to remove the inserts and you just wanna stick with the original look of the wheel with that black finish, you can do that. And so it's gonna be very flexible, but then, if you ever wanna swap out the inserts to blue, you can do that as well. We do sell separate blue inserts.
So as you can see, that's how easy and quick it is going to be to install those inserts. If you do wanna pick this wheel up with the blue inserts over the red, on your screen, I am including our item number, but maybe you want the wheel with no inserts whatsoever. We do have that option available to you as well. And just to show you, this is what the blue inserts are going to look like if you wanna go with the blue rather than the red. So you've got some options here, and if you wanna get the blue inserts later on down the road, you can pick those inserts up separately.
So very easy to install. Now, this wheel is rated up to 1,900 pounds, which is going to be plenty for most small cargo, utility or boat trailers. It's gonna be a solid fit when you wanna carry gear without stressing your wheel or wondering about load limits. The gloss black base is going to give this wheel a sleek, polished look, and these machined spokes are going to add, as I mentioned, just the right amount of contrast, I think. And it does look great with those right in inserts popped in. Now looking at the dimensions of this wheel, the overall diameter measuring bead seat to bead seat is gonna be 14 inches. The overall width, again, measuring bead seat to bead seat is gonna be five and a half inches. The bolt pattern is five on four and a half inches. The wheel bolt size is a half an inch by 20. If you do decide to pick up a center cap, you just wanna make sure that it fits a pilot diameter of 3.19 inches. Now in case you don't know, the first number on the bolt pattern is gonna be the number of bolt holes, and the second number is the diameter in inches of the circle on which the bolt holes sit. So to determine the bolt circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes as we have here, you simply measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the bolt hole directly across from this. Now, with aluminum, you're not gonna have to worry about rust or chipped paint over time. This is gonna do a great job of holding up to weather, water, and road grime without the need for powder coating. Plus, it's going to keep the weight down, so you're not gonna be hauling more than you need to. So if you do decide to pick this up, we would love to hear back from you regarding your experience with getting this installed and how you think it looks on your setup. You can actually share pictures with us if you leave a review on this product page, but if you have any other additional questions, don't hesitate to reach back out. We wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. Well, that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Quality wheel that looks good.
Got them a day early, and WOW, they are absolutely beautiful. Love them, going on a food trailer, will send pictures when the trailer wrap is finished
Great looking wheel. Will look good on my Blue and Silver Skeeter trailer.
eTrailer has been outstanding to work with. Their customer service and delivery time line is excellent. I wanted a custom quality appearance to my equipment and received exactly what I wanted. I have purchased a few items from them and they have my recommendation.
Excellent Priduct!! Fast Shipping!
great looking rims
The wheels look great! I do have one complaint about them. The red inserts come separate so you have to remove screws from the wheels. They are all very tight and the supplied wrench is of very poor quality. I literally broke 2 of them (both ends) trying to get one screw out of the wheel. I finally gave up and drilled the insert to go over the screw that would not come out. The tool is a hollow torx bit and not easy to find a good quality one somewhere else. There are 10 screws per wheel and I had to take out and put back 29 of them. It sucked. However, I got them mounted up on my trailer and they look great. If you buy these get ready for some tedious work installing the inserts.
They look great on my Scamp camper! I haven't put a mile on them yet but that will be the real test for a quality wheel.
