Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Dexter Tow Assist Indicator Light and Bluetooth Adapter. Now this kit is a direct replacement from Dexter. It works with the Dexter Tow Assist system, and you get the Bluetooth communicator that plugs into your OBD port. And that comes in a nice little carrying case.

That way when you're not using it, you keep everything nice, clean, secure. It's a nice hard case here to keep everything nice and safe. And this can pop off, I found from time to time, but it just snaps right back in place. No need to worry about that. And of course you have the light indicator itself.

So this exterior LED light will mount with the two included screws. And you're gonna mount this where you can see it, whether it's your mirror, something like that. That way you can confirm the tow assist is active. So again, this will light up showing you that what you're towing is active, and that tow assist is working. And it uses that Bluetooth connection, so it sends the odometer readings, fault codes, and key data to the app, giving you live updates while you're driving.

And it can also display system codes at startups, giving you an early heads-up on potential issues and stuff. So it's a great, great option. It shares breakdown performance and intellect break status, so that you're always gonna know that you're trailer is responding, and also how it's responding as well. Simple DEUTSCH connector, connection. Again, these are repair parts, so more likely than not, you've already seen these, know how they operate.
