Switching from old bulbs to LEDs makes a big difference in brightness and reliability. Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Optronics LED Light with Reflex Flange. It's a brake, turn, tail and it's submersible in a red color. Now, folks, again, this red brake, tail and turn signal light has a built-in reflector. I've got it actually lit up right now for daytime running lights. It is waterproof, great for boat trailers.
It's got white LEDs with red lens. As far as some dimensions, it's 4 7/8 on the actual light diameter itself before the flange comes out the side, and with the included flange, it's 5 3/4 inches diameter with a 3/4 inch thickness. Now, these are more efficient and durable than your incandescent bulbs. They're P2-rated. It is equally visible from the front and the side depending on how you're looking at it, especially with the lights on or off, and I'll demo that here in a second as well.
That's what the back looks like. You got three wires, red, white, and black, and it has a recessed mounting with the built-in flange there, and the rubber gasket is included. Now, you would need hardware to mount it with the three holes here, that is not included. It is compatible with 12 volt DC systems, and it is DOT-compliant. So, let's go ahead and turn off our overhead lights and get a better look.
So, that's your running lights, brake, and then obviously if you had it wired up for a tail or turn signal, that kind of thing. And like I said, it's equally visible from the side. And zooming out. So, again, it puts off a nice amount of light so you can easily see and be visible for safety. And turn on the overhead lights.
So, folks, again, lifetime warranty on the LEDs themselves, it's compatible with 12 volt DC systems. It has 10 diodes inside and on a stopped turn signal, the power draw at 12 volts is only 0.413 amps, and the tail signal is 0.026 amps. That's gonna wrap it up, folks. I have a 2008 Discover America 5th wheel. One of the led tail lights had several burned out LEDs. This replacement worked perfect although the light pattern is slightly different.
Safety update for my antique Shasta. Bright and well made' my only problem was my own failure to order the stainless steel rings to really finish off the install and add some more strength to the light structure; don't be cheap order the rings.
Restoring my old '71 Shasta camper I wanted to upgrade the analog taillights with LED's. These lenses worked great and I was able to use the old aluminum back covers. These lenses are close to the old ones in shape and size and will make the camper safer on the highway. Thx
I think the photos and the video accurately depicted the light. I don't plan on submerging my lights (I installed them on a car vice a trailer), but I believe the lights would do fine. they are completely enclosed. Ordered two so I assume they placed both in one bag and the bag has no serial number on it for reference in the future. One was loose in the shipping box and could have been easily broken with no buffer added to package. Shotty shipping.

I am very satisfied with etrailer and the ordering and shipping of the products, I had questions on the description of the round tail lights so I called etrailer and it was cleared up. The lights are perfect for my application. They are mounted on a small camping trailer that is pulled behind a motorcycle and space is limited so these being only 3/4" thick is great and because they are LED it makes it easier on the motorcycle electrical system. The outside diameter is 5 5/8 inch as on the video review along with all the rest of description is correct. A very nice light indeed.

These were really easy to install. I found that I needed more markers on the side of our 5th wheel trailer (44') I actually posted a few videos of people turning into our lane thinking they had passed the trailer. Connected to the rear and front marker lights and I have had no problems since.
Direct replacement for one exactly like it Same brand and all, although the original lost a few LED's It makes me wonder how good these lights really are..

I have a Newmar coach which I had a LED taillight that burnt out. I called Newmar and checked several other suppliers but no one had the one I needed.
