Switching from old bulbs to LEDs makes a big difference. This Dragon’s Eye light uses two amber LEDs that shine brighter and last up to 50 times longer than standard incandescent bulbs. The oval shape measures 2-5/8" long by 1-1/4" tall and just 3/4" deep, giving it a sleek, low-profile look. The clear lens over amber LEDs gives off a crisp glow that looks sharp day or night while still meeting SAE and DOT standards.
Installing this light is straightforward. It mounts right to the surface—no need for complicated brackets—and uses a simple two-wire pigtail: one power lead and one ground. The mounting holes are spaced at 1-15/16" center-to-center, so lining it up is easy whether you’re upgrading existing lights or adding new ones.

Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at a trailer clearance and side marker light. Now, this light adds or replaces a light on your trailer, and it functions as both a clearance light or side marker light when properly mounted. It features a weatherproof housing and lens that is very strong and durable. It's going to protect the LEDs from dirt, and moisture, and grime. It does feature the nice clear lens. Inside, it has two amber LEDs.
Now, LEDs make great replacements from incandescent lights. This is going to be a great replacement to a old incandescent light. LEDs last longer. They burn brighter, and they're much more efficient. With LEDs, you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about brittle filaments.Here, on the backside, you can see it's a two-wire design.
The yellow wire is for power. White power is for ground. This is a surface mount installation, so it mounts directly on the surface of the trailer. Mounting hardware is not included. It does have the indentions, here, on the black base.
That way, you can run the wiring out the side and still maintain a nice flat surface mount design. It is SAE and Department of Transportation compliant.Taking a look at some of the measurements real quick, starting with the overall length. Measuring edge to edge going this direction, we're looking at about 2 5/8". Edge to edge this direction is about 1 1/4". The overall thickness or depth, that's how far it sticks out from the mounting surface, on this particular light that's about 3/4" deep.
The mount holes on this unit are separated on center by 1 7/8". The mount holes have a diameter of 1/4".We're going to go ahead and hook it up power. That way, you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. Then, we'll also be able to turn off our overheads lights so you can see it in a lower light setting. You can see here this lights sends out a nice consistent signal. It's got two amber LEDs. The clear lens allows plenty of light to come through. Since it has more than one LED, or more than one diode, that multi-diode design really helps optimize the overall light output of this small trailer light.That's going to do it for today's look at the trailer clearance and side marker amber light.

The only complaint I would is my last 2 orders (several tires & brake kits) have been large sent via UPS, not sure on shipping cost but for my end a pallet would have been easier to handle. can't really complaint since shipping is free. just a thought.
Exactly what I needed and ordered. The process was streamlined and easy.
The Dragon's Eye LED Clearance lights were a near perfect replacement for the factory lights on my truck-camper. The lights matched in width and height but were slightly too deep. This resulted in the silver covers not fitting properly. This is not an issue with the product, just a heads up for future customers to check the depth of existing lights if you have covers. The wires on the lights were long enough to easily install the lights. The only issue I had with this order was with the tracking of my delivery. It started out good with notification from etrailer that the package was shipped but once the shipment reached the US postal service, Customs and Canadian postal service, there seemed to be long delays or no notification. I was notified by etrailer that my parcel had arrived days before the tracking was updated.
The product is very good. I would buy it again.

After 1 year the marker lights are working perfectly.
