Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Dexter Fortress Bolt-on Aluminum Oil Cap. Now this is going to fit the Dexter 9-12K axle model numbers that you see there on your screen. And this is designed to keep everything inside of your hub protected and easy to maintain. One really convenient feature is this side fill plug.
So, instead of having to remove the whole cap and add or change lubricant, you're just gonna be able to use that threaded port to fill or drain it. It's gonna be much quicker and a whole lot less messy. As you can see here, the cap has a clear viewing lens, so you're gonna be able to easily check your oil level at a glance, and it's protected by a retainer ring that's going to help prevent damage from road debris or impacts. Installation's gonna be pretty straightforward. It bolts directly onto your hub using a six-volt flange.
You'll just need to get the mounting hardware separately. Another nice thing is this does work with either oil or grease, so you've got flexibility depending on your setup. And it's built from cast aluminum with this really attractive black powder, black coating rather. So, this is gonna be durable and corrosion-resistant. It includes everything that you see here.
And I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
