This DeeMaxx 13" disc brake kit delivers smooth, consistent stopping where it counts. Each 1-piece hub-and-rotor assembly is built for 8,000-lb axles and works with #42 spindles and 16" or larger wheels. Ceramic pads and a stainless steel piston give strong, responsive braking that feels steady even under load. The integrated hub-and-rotor design keeps alignment true and eliminates the uneven wear that can happen with slip-on rotors.

Water, salt, and road grime can destroy unprotected brakes fast. The Maxx coating on these rotors, calipers, and brackets has a salt spray rating over 1,000 hours—far longer than zinc or Dacromet coatings. Drainage holes in the hat section let water escape quickly, keeping the rotors drier and reducing internal corrosion. It’s a setup made to last through years of wet or brackish use without seizing or rusting up.
Long grades or frequent stops can build up heat that causes fade. DeeMaxx’s vented rotor design dissipates heat faster and keeps braking consistent. The drainage holes add extra ventilation that helps prevent premature pad wear. This cooling performance is proven—the same design passed the SAE J2681 automotive brake test for consistent friction performance under stress.

Everything you need to upgrade one axle is included—two hub-rotor assemblies, calipers, brackets, bearings, races, oil seals, oil caps, wheel bolts, and lug nuts. There’s no guesswork thanks to laser-etched bleeding instructions on the calipers. Once installed with a hydraulic actuator rated at 1,500 psi or higher (sold separately), these brakes are ready to run with minimal upkeep.

From the cast iron hub-rotor assemblies to the stainless hardware, every component is built for durability. The kit’s high-quality construction stands up to heat, load, and corrosion while maintaining smooth operation season after season—all backed by a 7-year manufacturer warranty.

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the DeeMaxx 13 inch Threaded Hub and Rotor Assembly Kit with the eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern, five eights inch studs for 8,000 pound axles, and this has a max coat finish on it. Now this kit here will let you upgrade your trailer from drum to disk brakes for superior performance. The threaded hubs on here are mostly used on oil bath axles. Now this kit will include everything laid out here on the table.
We're gonna go through all the parts. Start with the hub and rotors. Basically you'll get two max coded cast iron threaded hub and rotor assemblies, and they'll have the bearing races already pre-installed in them. You'll get two inner bearings, two outer bearings, two oil seals, two threaded oil caps that'll thread into the outer portion of the hub here. You'll notice you'll have the lug nuts.
They're 16 total of the five eights inch by 18 size lug nuts. The calipers will be max coated with brake pads installed and the bolts to install them. Over here, we have the caliper mounting brackets, which will also be max coated. Now this kit will require an hydraulic brake actuator rated at 1500 PSI or above, and brake lines to activate your brakes. Those items we do sell separately.
Now the hub and rotor we mentioned is a one piece hub and rotor assembly. This will reduce the chance of uneven rotor wear. Basically, if I turn this and you look, you'll see on the side it's vented. This vented design will dissipate the heat faster, prevents premature brake pad wear. And right here on the hat section, you can see the holes also.
These are drainage holes that allow water to drain easily, further minimizing any corrosion. Now this is excellent for occasional use in salt water areas with a lot of snow, slush, and road salt. We mentioned they have a max coat finish. That is a corrosion resistant finish. It's on the hub and rotors, on the calipers, and on the caliper brackets. Has a salt spray rating of over a thousand hours. This offer dramatically shorter stopping distances and smooth control braking. Now I did wanna show you the brake pads we had mentioned. I'm gonna flip the caliper up, and you'll see the brake pads which are installed. They are ceramic brake pads to increase stopping power. The stainless steel piston that's on the inside here that applies the pads to stop your trailer. The stainless steel piston is two and a quarter inches in diameter, so it will provide fast, responsive braking. Now this kit requires minimal maintenance, saving you time and money. Also, if you notice right here on the front of the caliper, they put laser etched instructions on to take the guesswork out of installing and bleeding the brakes. Now this kit will fit Dexter 8,000 pound axles with the number 42 spindle. The wheel size that'll fit on this is 16 inches and larger. Bolt pattern is eight on six and a half inches. The wheel stud diameter is five eighths of an inch. Rotor diameter is 13 inches. And the last thing I want to show you is the caliper brackets that the caliper will mount to. If you notice, it has four holes on it, so it is designed to fit a four bolt brake flange configuration on your axle. But that should do it for a look at the DeeMaxx 13 inch Threaded Hub and Rotor Assembly Kit with the eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern, five eights inch diameter studs for 8,000 pound axles.
