Hi, everybody, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Caliber three inch spool roller for the boat trailers, and it's got a half inch shaft and it's a nice sturdy rubber. Now, folks, this replaces your dry rotted or a cracked bow roller, and it supports the keel of the boat while it's on the trailer. It's ideal for flat bottom boats, and is made of natural rubber, so it's gonna absorb shock while you're towing, it's UV resistant, and it can hold up in the sun. Now, some quick dimensions on this guy. Overall, the diameter, I got right at three inches.
Keep in mind it is rounded on the edges, so I got right at three inches. And the shaft, about a half inch. Now, when I measure from side to side on this particular one, I got about three and 3/16 of an inch, maybe three and 1/8. So keep in mind, this is technically a three inch spool roller, so it will fit that three inch application on the center roller bracket just fine, okay. So there are some variances there in the rubber, and that's totally normal.
