13" Wide x 10-7/8" tall x 2" deep, superior heat exchanger improves the performance and increases the lifespan of your vehicle's engine or transmission with maximum efficiency.

Stacked-plate heat exchangers have long been considered the most effective type of oil or transmission cooler, primarily because of their increased surface area. Allowing fluid to spread out over this larger surface area decreases the time required for heat transfer to take place. As a result, plate coolers typically manage to cool a greater volume of fluid faster than tube-and-fin, or even plate-and-fin, varieties. Add to that the turbulator technology - whereby fluids are agitated continuously to not only facilitate heat transfer, but also to prevent any undesirable drop in pressure - and you have an absolutely superior cooling system.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at this Derale Class V 34-Row High-Performance Stacked-Plate Cooler. This superior heat exchanger is going to prevent heat related failures and increase the life of your vehicle's transmission, improving the overall functioning and performance. Now, stacked-plate heat exchangers have long been considered to be the most effective type of oil or transmission coolers primarily because of their increased surface area, allowing fluid to spread out over this larger surface area decreases the time required for heat transfer to take place. So as a result, plate coolers typically manage to cool a greater volume of fluid faster than tube and thin or even plate and thin varieties. Add to that, the turbulator technology where fluids are agitated continuously to not only facilitate heat transfer but also to prevent any undesirable drop in pressure.
And you have an absolutely superior cooling system. Now this cooler facilitates the heat transfer between high pressure fluids with a furnace brazed aluminum construction. It's designed as I mentioned, with 34 rows of two inch wide turbulator plates for increased capacity and more efficient cooling. Now this will work as either an engine oil or transmission cooler, and it does come with these built in mounting brackets for easy installation. Now the inlets are -10 AN O-ring female.
And on your screen I am including a rough diagram of this cooler with the dimensions that are gonna be important to you. The overall dimensions there are, this is 13 inches wide and 10 and 7/8 inches tall and two inches deep. The distance between the inlets center to center are 10 inches and the mounting dimensions are 12 and 1/4 inches wide and 10 and 1/16 inches tall. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.
Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
Made a huge difference in cooling!
I'm expecting a lot of cooling from this thing. The Derale tech guy recommended a 16 row cooler for my Ram 3500, so I got the 40. If 1 nail is good, 2 nails are better.
Fast delivery, good product, etrailer stays in contact throughout the entire sale with tracking and information
