Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Pacbrake Alpha XD rear axle double convoluted air bag suspension kit. Now this kit has been designed to fit your 2013 to 2018 RAM 2500 and 3500 and the Mega Cab models. I do wanna point out that this will also be compatible with the 3349 and the 3319 Super Glide fifth wheel rail kits on the four-wheel drive models only. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.

As you know, when the load gets heavy, your truck is going to need more than just the rear springs hanging on for dear life. This kit is going to add up to 7,500 pounds of rear axle support. So this is going to help keep your truck level and steady. Even when the trailer is loaded, the bed is packed and the miles are long, so you're not gonna have to worry about rear end sag throwing off your braking and steering or your headlights pointing up to the sky. Now as you know, every haul is different.

That's why these springs give you full control over ride height and firmness, with adjustable air pressure from 5 to 100 PSI. If you're hauling a fifth wheel or a full bed of gravel, you'll just crank up the air pressure. And then if you're unloaded and heading home, you can drop that pressure back down, giving you a softer ride. Manual inflation valves are included. And I'm gonna turn this one, just so you can see the bracket there is blocking that.

So you're gonna be able to, right out the box, manually inflate these or let air out, depending on what your particular application's going to be for that particular circumstance. And extreme hauling does demand extreme durability. So these springs are built with one inch thick, corrosion-resistant end caps. You're not gonna be able to see that because I do have these kind of loosely assembled to kind of give you an idea of what this is going to look like when this is installed underneath your truck. But the bags also feature 20 internal support wires that are gonna reinforce these and give you maximum strength under that load.

And then we have these heavy-duty roll plates here on either end that's going to actually protect the bags from chafing and help extend the lifespan of the bags. These custom-fit brackets are powder-coated, and so that's gonna help fight off corrosion and rust and road salt, and they're gonna be great for all seasons. And so if it's bitter cold or if it's a scorching heat or mud lake job sites, the system is made to outlast whatever the road is going to dish out for you. And I will say I have been able to come in contact with other manufacturers' air bag kits. And this kit from Pacbrake has to be the most premium that I've ever seen, with just a great powder-coat finish on the brackets and just the great materials that the bags are made of. I would say that this is probably top-of-the-line when it comes to air bag suspension kit. So this is really gonna be a great, robust, very durable kit for you to consider. These brackets are laser cut, so they are designed to bolt cleanly to your truck's existing mounting points without welding or drilling your frame. So this kit is designed to work with your setup as it sits today or wherever your upgrades are gonna take you down the road. You're gonna be able to inflate, as I mentioned, manually with the standard air valves right out of the box, no extra parts needed. But if you already have an onboard compressor, these are gonna connect easily to most existing setups. And then if you're planning for an in-cab wireless controller down the road, that's not gonna be an issue because you're laying the foundation with this kit. And so it's gonna be very easy to expand your control options when you're ready. So it does include everything that you see here on my table here. You're gonna get the hardware, you will receive instructions to walk you through the installation process. And again, the load leveling support is 7,500 pounds. But just be aware that this does not actually increase your truck's weight carrying capacity. This only supports it. So you wanna be sure that you're not exceeding your manufacturer's recommended weight limit.
