Today we're going to take a look at the K Source Passenger Side Electric Heated Replacement Side Mirror. This is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 2012 and newer Subaru Impreza with the heated power mirrors, but it does exclude the WRX models. It also fits the 2013 and newer Subaru XV Crosstrek with the heated power mirror. On any custom fit part I always like to recommend to go to our website, use our fit guide. Put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show you if this will work for your application. This is a side view mirror which is a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your vehicle. It is designed to match the manufacturer's specs for a nice custom look and fit.
It does have the power remote mirror capability which you can adjust your mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle. It is also a heated mirror, which means the face of the mirror will melt snow and ice and reduce fogging. The mirror is made of an OE grade convex glass with first surface plating. This will reflect sharp images, provides a nice superior range of vision. Front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome, and since it is a passenger side mirror it is a convex design mirror.
This makes reflections appear smaller than with a flat mirror, but it does allow you to see more and reduce the blind spots. It is a break-away design. The mirror with fold when struck to prevent breakage. It's made of a nice durable ABS plastic, has a nice shiny black finish. It is an easy no-drill installation. You notice here it has the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror.
You'll notice the cord here, it's designed to plug into your existing electrical wiring on your vehicle. Again the specs on this, this part is for a quantity of one passenger side mirror. It does replace the original equipment numbers of 91036FJ200 and 91059FJ000. One last note I do want to mention on this mirror is that the power remote capability and the heated glass of this mirror will only work if your vehicle already has those functions.
