Today we're going to be taking a look at the K-source replacement side mirror for the driver'side of your vehicle. This product fits certain years and models, as the Subaru Impreza and Subaru X3 Cross-trek. To make sure this is a fit for your vehicle, you can check out the vehicle fit guide located at Etrailer.com. The side-view mirror is a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror on your vehicle. It's modeled after the manufacturer's original-looking fit. It's going to feature powering mode capability that we can adjust the mirror face position by using the factory power controls from within the vehicle. It's also going to feature a heated mirror glass.
It's going to do a great job at clearing frost and ice, as well as reduce fogging. This is an OE-grade flat glass with first-surface plating, which is going to reflect clear images. The front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome, and then the flat lens is going to provide true representation of the actual object size. It does have a break-away design, so if the mirror is struck from the front or from the back, it will fold to deter breakage. We're looking at a nice, durable plastic housing, very strong and durable.
It's got a nice, black finish to it. The cover can be painted to match the vehicle if desired. It's an easy no-drill installation. It's going to use the same foot-printed mounting points as the factory mirror. Then the mirror is designed to plug into the existing electrical wiring. When it comes to the OE or Original Equipment numbers, there's going to be two of them.
The first one is 91036FJ210. The other one that works is 91059Fj010. Please keep in mind that the powering capability and heated glass of the mirror will work only if your vehicle already has those functions, and this mirror does not feature a turn signal. The product was as advertised but I was more impressed with the service from etrailer.com. The supplier was a bit slow but the folks at etrailer.com kept me in the loop the entire way. It was very much appreciated as my wife was very anxious about not having the side mirror. The mirror fit and worked on the first try. Just one word of caution, there are no installation instructions with the mirror so you need to be comfortable taking a door panel off and doing the install. Kudos to Megan and the other staff that were so helpful!
Fit perfectly, fast service. My auto body guy was able to install quickly at low cost. overall more than half of it would have cost at the dealership.
My only issue is that I asked for the passenger side view mirror, for my 2012 Subaru Forrester. My vehicle, the side view mirrors also have lights on both, so oncoming drivers can get an additional signal, letting them know which way I am turning. The mirror sent does not have that. So now One mirror has it, and the other side does not. Great
My passenger side truck mirror did not stand a chance after getting too close to a tree while backing up. The replacement mirror from etrailer looks and works as great as the original.

Approximately a 25 minute installation. Great product. Arrived in less than 5 days after ordering. Pretty much a plug and play application. I need to get another push plug, because the ears on one of the inner door mounts broke, while removing it. That stuff happens. Great purchase experience. Highly recommend.
So far so good. The mirror does not shake like my last mirror that I replaced. It is wired properly and not backwards. I would buy again
