Ellen: Hey, everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the K-Source replacement side mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for your vehicle. If something happened, maybe you got clipped somewhere on a narrow street, or just maybe got in a little fender bender or whatever the case might be, and you just need that new replacement mirror, this is going to be the part for you.This is a particular fit for several different Chevy and GM vehicles between 2000 and 2014. I'll run through the list with you guys.
That's going to be the 2007 through 2014 GMC Sierra, the 2500 and the 3500. Also for the GMC Yukon and the Yukon XL, same year range, 2007 to '14. For the Chevy side, that's going to fit the Chevy Silverado 2500 and 3500 and also the Chevrolet Suburban and the Tahoe. Same year ranges again, 2007 to 2014. And then it also fits the 2007 through 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche.So it should match up with your GM vehicle.
It has that same factory look to it, that texturized black finish kind of makes it look like a matte finish there. It's made out of a durable plastic housing. Since this is going to be the passenger side, the glass is a convex design that gives us a greater field of view. So it helps to eliminate those blind spots. You also notice in the corner there we'll have our turn signal.
We can also use our remote capability inside the vehicle to adjust that mirror, so we get it dialed in where we need it to be. And it also does still have the heated function.To get all those wires to work, you'll just have to plug this piece into your factory wiring. So there's no cutting or splicing required at all with this. You just plug it right into that factory harness, and you're good to go. Also comes with new nuts to get this installed.
So we'll have new hardware. Just take your old mirror off, unplug the wiring, pop this new guy on there, and plug in the wiring as well.Since this has a longer cord, it looks like it's going to have to get routed a little bit through your dash. So you might have to push the wires in and then come underneath the dash there right underneath your glove box to make the connection for your mirror, but shouldn't be anything too complicated. Just a matter of finding that wire bundle to unplug and plug into.Again, it does have those all those power functions. But if you didn't already have those features, like the LED turn signal or the heated glass, this isn't going to upgrade you. It's not going to give you anything that your vehicle didn't already have. So keep that in mind. It's just going to allow you to still use those functions.The things that it doesn't support though will be, it does not have a puddle lamp. And then it also doesn't support the memory auto dimming or the power folding functions. It does still have the breakaway design, so if you happen to be on a narrow street and somebody clips you, or if you just want to fold in your mirror, you can still do that. You can see there, folds in pretty easily. So we don't have to worry about our new mirror getting damaged again.That's pretty much all there is to it for our K-Source replacement side mirror. Mirror worked out great.installation was straight forward.
However I would think that a fragile object like a mirror could have been packaged better.

Transaction with you was pleasant. However,the after-market product is inferior to the dealer's, in that the HEATING ELEMENT does NOT cover the entire surface of the mirror & takes much longer to work.
The passenger side mirror for my 2013 Hyundai Elantra proved a no-sweat installation and all the electrics worked at a quarter the cost of a factory replacement mirror.

Works great had it installed at the dealership. Would not accept my chrome piece that snaps into the back of the mirror, (different tab locations from OEM) but I needed the mirror more than the chrome. Would highly recommend for replacement.
Timely arrival, installation is not easy but doable, with basic skills and minimal tools it can be done in a few hours. [online video] helps. Fit great, worked as it should and this guy is happy. Quality is impressive and seems well built; time will tell. Customer service is excellent, emailed them with questions, next day response, convinced me this is a good quality company and wants to keep my business.

When i ordered the driver side mirror, i was disappointed to find that it did not match my original toyota mirror. Since i only needed to replace one mirror, having to order a passenger side mirror to replace a perfectly good mirror was not ideal. My toyota factory mirror covers do not fit your mirror and your mirror is bigger and is a different shape.
Arrived on time, appears to be a perfect match. Will follow up if any post-install problems. Customer service on the transaction was excellent.
....although the delivery of the item I ordered was longer than originally committed to by etrailer, when the item finally arrived, the product was as described and a factory replacement for the vehicle.

I bought this mirror online a while ago for my Santa Fe sport AWD 2017, when I was buying that time I thought it will have all functions in a same way my old side mirror performing that time. But my BSD system in Car stopped working since the first day of install as this new mirror wont support that Blind Spot detection or this mirror only for heat and signal. Overall, I would like to recommend this mirror.
Fits my 2018 Rav4 Adventure. Watched [online] videos on how to replace. Completed the project in about 30 mins. (Pretty easy) Dealership quoted me at ~$500 for the repair and install so saved a lot of money in the long run. Package shipped quick and staff alerted me about shipping every step of the way. Will definitely re-buy from this site the next time I need to make a repair!

Mirrors for 03 Silverado. Trailer mirrors before removal and the new mirrors I purchased. Power with manual fold, heated and signal in mirror. Easy change and exact fit.
Appears well constructed and perfect fit. Wire harness was perfect. 100% replication of functions. Mirror to door seal may leak over time. Factory seal was thicker, and could not re-use due to minor difference in mirror construction. Also, factory wire harness had a protective snap-in shroud and a few more wires, but does not appear to matter. I would recommend. My truck is 2007 Silverado Classic.
