Today on our 2012 Dodge Quad cab Pickup well be installing the Putco element window channel visors, part number P580137. Starting here on the passenger side well go ahead and lower the window. We can go ahead and remove the adhesive cover. Starting next to the mirror down at the bottom near the window opening well put the visor into the window channel. Well go ahead and flex the visor so that we can get the opposite in into the window channel and then work the center into the window channel. Be advised that if the adhesive catches the window trim that youll need to go ahead and slide a flat bladed screwdriver or a trim panel tool in so that the window visor gets all the way up into the window channel.
Now that weve got our visor in place well go ahead and work the window up and down, adhering the visor and setting it in place. Thatll complete the install on our passenger side front window. Now lets go ahead and do the passenger side rear window. Well go ahead and lower the window, remove the adhesive cover and slip it into place. Then well work the window up and down adhering the adhesive and setting the window visor.
Now with that done well go ahead and repeat the same process on the drivers side. With the drivers side completed thatll complete the install of our Putco element in channel window visors, part number P580137, on our 2012 Dodge Crew Cab pickup.

Driver side has a big crack, passenger side has several small cracks. Front visors are great and easy install. Look really sleek!!

Working out great after a year
So far I like it . take me 15 minutes to put in all the windows . Watch the video did exactly
what it show on the video , come out perfect.

Installed on my 2016 RAM 2500. I like the fit and finish although they seem to be messing with the auto up pressure sensor in the window motors from time to time. I’m sure they just need more time to seat and wear in.

Still holding up great and the auto window issue has been resolved. Great product.
I ordered 2 sets, 1 for my truck and 1 for my wife's. There are instructions on the back of the box and a supplemental sheet inside the box. The sheet says start from the front of the window and work back. The box says the opposite. I did some trial fittings both ways, and the way on the sheet works better. I had them all installed except the front passenger window. That one decided to shatter while being bent to fit in the window channel. No problem, I'll grab that piece from the other set. Of course, the front passenger piece was cracked, I assume in shipping, while all the others are just fine. etrailer.com is sending a replacement for the cracked one and Putco warrantied the one that shattered. Great customer service. A word to the wise, don't throw out the box until all issues have been resolved. etrailer.com might want to submit a claim to UPS or FedEx, who may want to see the box it was shipped in.
They do make a noise while driving. Like a window is just barely cracked. You'll get used to it.
Very sharp looking on the vehicle. Nice that they fit IN the channel instead of just adhesive to the outside of the door like most.
Only complaint is the rear windows, the fit has it to where the windows can be barely cracked. They need to curve down just a tad towards the rear of the truck.
2016 Ram 2500 these look great on my truck very easy to install. I would recommend if you haven't installed vent visors before that you do a dry run before removing the tape paper. I have weather tech on my other vehicle and I think I like these better and they're 1/2 the price!! Great dealing with etrailer.com
Ordered these vents for a 2016 Dodge Ram. Good quality and tight fit. The only issue I had was that the front windows wanted to lower automatically (safety feature) when closed automatically. This issue was resolved after the vents had time to set into the channel for a few days with the window fully closed.
Product arrived on time. Both the window visors and the tailgate assist were very easy to install. Love them both.

Great and easy fit. The vents fitting in the window track gives the truck a very nice smooth look. Curious to see how the 3M adhesive holds up over time, but these seem like a great choice for the price.
The fronts were a very tight fit. They aren't going anywhere. The rears just slid right in,but they do have tape on them.
Looks good hope it keeps the rain out but let some fresh air in. Looks like I'm gonna have an issue with the auto up widow hits the top and senses pressure and goes back down. Have to stop before it reaches the top and do it with out auto and goes up.
Very pleased with quality and fit. Inside rails fit is fine and will not leak!
