Hello neighbors, it's Brad here from Etrailer, and today I'm in Elkhart, Indiana, the RV capital of the world. And I'm here with Austin for MORryde. Austin. What is MORryde Yeah, so MORryde's been around since 1966, more or less. We are a big supplier of high-end aftermarket RV components. I've got to install a lot of their products.
They're all fantastic. I'm not just being biased. And today we got to see 'em made. So we're gonna take a closer look at some of the products and what you guys have to offer. So when it comes to camping, you know you're limited in space when it comes to a little bit of everything, but many times you have storage and compartments, but reaching back and getting some of that stuff out, not always that easy.
Or if you wanna stow stuff and have it ready at the whim to cook or whatever, you guys have options for that. So what do we have here Yeah, we got a few different options. As you touched on, it really depends on the specific need you have and what kind of cargo you're carrying with you. So to start, we have our fully assembled cargo trays. These are kind of the only of its kind.
They come in about 60 plus different sizes depending on the width and the length that you need. What's unique about these is one, again, they're fully assembled. Two, our 90, 90 inch, and our 72 inch two weight slides both slide out both sides of a baggage compartment. So what's unique is they also have an 800 pound or a 500 pound weight capacity, depending on the size that you have, and they slide out either 60 or 80%. If something's in the exact middle, you're gonna have at least 10% beyond that to grab something from your cargo tray.
So they range anywhere from 20 to 52 inches wide and all the way up to 90 inches deep. These are again, fully assembled. It just takes a few screws to install 'em. You would just slide your tray out like this, install a few screws on the back end, a couple in the middle, slide it this way, push out the other side, install a few screws on the front side and you're done. So the hardest part is getting it off the pallet, lifting inside the coach. From there, it's just a few screws and you're done. It does come with all the necessary hardware to install. It comes with wood screws through bolts lag bolts. You kind of pick your poison and figure out what you want to do with that. On top of that, we do also make a couple different variations of griddle slides. So Blackstones, suburban Graystone, whatever brand you have, we have kind of the slide out solution for you. So this one in particular is a dual locking slide. So it comes out, locks in place, gives you a few inches away from the outside of the RV so that you're not gonna burn the coach. Then it comes with, if you wanna grab one of those Sure. Comes with two of these shelves that also just lock right in place. Gives you an extra place to put your grilled hot dogs or brats or whatever else on this side and maybe your cooking utensils on the other side. So just a great way to store your griddle, get it in a dedicated space. It gives you a lot of versatility as far as table space as you're working around. On top of that, we have kind of an example of what we would consider a utility tray or a battery tray or a generator tray, whatever you call it. It's whatever you dedicate to sit on the inside. So these trays come in about four or five different sizes. They slide out 100% and they're a great place again for generators, batteries, or any gear that you need to dedicate for that specific place. With the cargo slides, I did a a two way on a full basement, and it is heavy, don't get me wrong, but once in place that it really changes how you stack your stuff. So normally you know, you put the stuff that you use all the time on the end and then if you need something in the back, you're digging through, pulling all out. You don't have to do that. And being able to go both sides was great. I sat on the very end of it and it was sturdy as can be, no problem when when it comes to weight. So really does just change the storage game. Makes it super easy. I like the carpeted bottom too. Yeah You know, it's the nice little touches of hardware and everything that they put into these. We actually got a chance to see these made today, which is really cool. The quality that you guys have at the facility is fantastic. So if you're looking to really utilize your storage compartments and make 'em nice and easy to use, these are a fantastic option. I purchased the MORryde RV Cargo Slide Tray - 90" x 23" to make accessing my equipment in my 4 by 8.5 enclosed trailer easier. This slide tray seemed like it would be a perfect fit from front to back and also be wide enough to hold the tote boxes without taking up all of the trailer floor space It ended up being a perfect fit and I could not be more satisfied with the purchase. It is a solid piece of equipment that slides very smoothly, I considered trying to build something that would slide in and out of the trailer but gave up on that idea when I found this. It arrived in perfect condition and installed as easily as the videos make it seem. etrailer is an excellent company to purchase from for sure!
This tray is awesome and etrailer is fantastic. As a reminder when ordering a 60% pull out tray. If you have a 12” drop down at the front of your RV basement and then the floor of basement is set back that is 12 inches less that your drawer will pull out. It makes a big difference on a 42” deep drawer.
Perfect for my Alliance Delta 252RL. Shipped on a pallet but strapped upside down which stripped some of the screws holding the plywood shelf in place. Replaced screws no problem. Installed with the lift kit. Mounted with bolts and screws. Pretty simple.
The instructions are a tad ambiguous when it comes to separating the frame from the cargo holder. I was only going to be utilizing this as a one way pull out for the bed of my truck. I needed a specific size as I have a hoist built in near the tailgate of my truck. This size fit perfectly. The fitment was perfect all the way around. However, I did have a difficult time separating the frame from the drawer. I ended up having to drill out one of the stops that was not going to be necessary for my application. After I did this, it worked perfectly. This was installed in a 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500.
We have had the MORryde slide tray for 12 months. My son and I installed the tray in about 30 minutes. We replaced a Lance plastic slide in that was horrible. Lance is now using the MORryde slide in its newer models. The 90" length gives me use of the entire length of the storage area (the original was only 64"). The opening of our storage area was exactly 26" wide so I was concerned about ordering the 26" wide slide. but one of the install videos indicated the slide was slightly narrower. This slide fits exact and slides free. I have gained so much storage with the MORryde, the rollers are heavy duty and the 60% extension in either side gives me FULL access to the storage area. No more crawling into the storage to get that thing in the middle. I recommend this slide tray without reservation. Very solid.
We love this cargo slide! We bought clear storage totes so we can see what it is each tote! It fit our grill, 4ea. 48 QT storage totes and a 3 tier stackable drawers. Our table and umbrellas fit under the slide.
Well, I guess I’m not using it for what it was made for, but it’s the perfect size for my work trailer! It sure beats having to crawl inside to get the tools I need! I couldn’t be more happy! I also get a lot of compliments on the set up!
This fit perfectly in our 2023 Reatta Motorcoach. Easy installation (with a little help). Provides so much more room, easier access to all items.
Overall this is a helpful addition to my RV front storage area. My only negative comment is on the design of the unit. In middle of the tray a cross support extends below the rest of the clearance the sliding tray requires to open fully. The instructions don't comment on this. I am going to have to reinstall the unit with about a 3/8" spacer under the slide tray frame to clear my opening at the door. The way it sits now I can slide the tray out about half way and then lift the end of the tray up to get over my door frame.
The middle support could have been designed thinner or put inside the tray. IMO
Tray arrived with the boxed all taped up on the top. After opening it everything was there just a few of scrapes on the side like it had been dragged around which is probably what opened up the box. I wasn't pleased about but I got through it and got it installed. I would like to mention that the roller mounting bolts stick through into the storage tray area witch really limits the space. I will remove them, cut them to the correct length or replace them with shorter bolts. This may seem petty but it's a big deal when your trying to utilize every inch of the space. Also I would agree with other comments a breaking system of sorts would be nice, but also understanding that it would also effect the price. Maybe as an option? Everything else went fine, it's what I expect from MORryde products.
The best cargo slide tray ever! It's strong, stable and glides both directions with ease. Although there's a small gap between the bottom of the tray and the floor of the trailer I mount it on, I have been able to store a few flat things (door mat, etc.) in that space. I would definitely recommend!
Let’s start by saying the slid itself is 5 stars! Great product! The customer service at etrailer 5 stars! The shipping the use (T-force) -5 stars. Their tracking sucks and you can not get a hold of anyone for questions. My order arrived super late and I was not contacted before delivery. No one knew wher it was. Look at the box pictures, thankfully MORryde makes a great product.
I'm very pleased with the slide unit and ease of installation. I'm happy it came pre-assembled. It meets my needs as I'm using it in my truck, not an RV. Only modification I had to do was create an ability to 'lock' it open when the slide is out all the way, so it doesn't roll back when I'm not on level ground.
This product is great. It allows complete access to the front storage from both sides. It works well for getting quick access to toolboxes, ladders, and other items that you normally would have to dig or remove items to get to. Installation was straight forward following the instructions. The hardest thing was crawling into the opening to secure the rails to the RV.
This is a 10! Easy install (will need 2nd person). Exceeding my expectations on how well it works and the convenience of not having to climb around the storage area. Makes storage much more organized and efficient. It is also built like a tank with an 800lbs payload. My trailer is a 2025 Rockwood Mini Lite 2205s. I think I should also give a shout out to etrailer. You can buy stuff other places but the customer service, support and knowledge is world class. They are my go to for RV Trailer supplies.
