Few things make driving more stressful than constant rocking or rolling through turns. This 1-3/8" diameter front anti-sway bar ties the axle to the chassis to balance weight transfer and keep the vehicle level. The thick 4140 chromoly steel construction adds stiffness and strength, so cornering feels tighter, steering feels more direct, and the ride stays under control even when conditions change fast.

Crosswinds, passing trucks, or uneven pavement don’t have to throw you around. This bar minimizes side-to-side movement by using the weight of the axle to brace the frame as it shifts in turns. The result is a level, more planted feel that makes long drives easier and highway cruising less tiring. You’ll notice immediate improvement in how steadily the vehicle tracks down the road.
This setup is made from 4140 chromoly steel, which is significantly stronger than the standard 1020 steel used in many stock bars. That means it resists flexing and delivers more consistent support. The polyurethane bushings hold up against oil, gasoline, and ozone without wearing out quickly, so there’s less give in the system and a more solid connection between the chassis and axle over time.

Nobody wants to cut or drill into their frame just to add stability. This bar bolts directly to the front axle and chassis with the included heavy-gauge mounting hardware. The kit also comes with bushing lubricant and easy-to-follow instructions, making it a straightforward driveway install with basic tools. It’s built to work alongside other suspension components without interference for a clean, effective setup.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this Roadmaster front anti-sway bar. Now this has been designed to fit your 2003 to 2009 Chevrolet Kodiak and GMC Topkick 4500 and 5500. And on custom-fit parts such as this front anti-sway bar, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and our fit guide will confirm if this one will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
Also, if you're checking out a rear anti-sway bar as well, go through our vehicle fit guide and, if we have one available, our fit guide will point you in the right direction. So this anti-sway bar does for side-to-side movement what a good pair of shocks does for up-and-down motion. And you're gonna notice a marked improvement in your vehicle's stability as the bar works to balance the weight transfer and reduce body roll. This is designed to fit your vehicle and work in conjunction with its suspension system and acts as a link between your vehicle's frame and its front axle using your axle as a brace to more effectively balance the shifting weight of your vehicle as you maneuver it. You are going to be able to execute turns and quick maneuvers with confidence.
This is going to allow for a level ride even on irregular surfaces, and this is gonna help reduce driver fatigue by minimizing the effort required to keep your vehicle in line. It's gonna diminish the effects of crosswinds, passing motorists, and shifting cargo. This has also been engineered to avoid interference with both popular aftermarket add-ons and accessories. The bushings here, they're made of polyurethane instead of the standard rubber variety, for a longer-lasting system. Polyurethane is durable and resistant to damage caused by oil, gasoline, and ozone.
So less wear means less give in the system and better overall support. Now this bar is made here in the USA of thick 4140 chromoly steel, giving you that superior strength, and it includes everything that you see here, not only the bar but brackets, bushings, end links, hardware with a tub of grease in there, and, of course, instructions to guide you through that installation process. The diameter of this bar is 1 3/8 inches, and this does have a limited lifetime warranty from Roadmaster. Now if you do decide that this is going to be the one that's going to work best for you, we would love to hear back from you after you get this installed and after you've used it for a while. And we would love to hear your experience with the installation and with the operation of this bar.
So when you get some time, drop a review on this product page, letting us know your experience, and if you have any photos that you would like to share with us, we would love to see 'em. But I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

I have taken a few trips with the Clatter Cabin now. It’s been enjoyable to drive. Since then I have replaced the exhaust from the engine back with 2 12 inch pipe. I was able to get the pre bent exhaust parts over the axle and clear your rear sway bar nicely. Now she purrrrs!

Install looks great Steven! I can't wait for you to take it out for a spin so you can see the difference for yourself, it is amazing what a upgraded sway bar does to your ride, no more white knuckles for you, or your wife. What big stops do you have planned on your trip to the West Coast?

What I recommend is touching it up with a rust resistant paint like Rustoleum. We will be in contact with you about the damage. Please keep an eye on your email.

After a year and many miles I would give it a five star for sure. Made a great improvement over the stock anti-sway bar. With the rear and front RoadMaster anti-sway along with the RoadMaster steering stabilizer the E-450 33 foot class C motorhome drives like a dream. I highly recommend these three products. If not all at once then this order, 1st rear anti sway bar then 2nd front and then the steering stabilizer with the spring on it.

Sounds like a much smoother drive, Riley! I looked up your camper to see how tall it is and I can see exactly why its called a Bigfoot. What's been your favorite place you've traveled to so far with the camper?

The two Roadmastercsway bars weve been using continue to impress and perform like they did on day one. Driving back across the country with some days having stiff criswinds continually we rode comfortably and never had handling or steering issues. I remain adamant that these are undoubtedly the best products on the market for this application and welcome any questions. For reference my truck is a 2018 F350 crew cab DRW, 6.7 diesel 4x4 long bed with Bigfoot 3000 series truck camper. Get the Roadmasters!

Love this review Charles! It really is amazing the difference an upgraded sway bar, or adding a sway bar can do. Personally I think that every truck should come with a rear sway bar, it is sad that most do not now a days. Where did you go for your first trip?

This is a complete game changer when using a truck camper Mine is an Arctic Fox 990. I would list this under a must have accessory when using a truck camper. Unloaded ride when you hit off camber bumps is slightly rougher, but hey its a Ram 3500 dually for hauling heavy stuff. Also the performance when carving twisty canyons with an empty truck is astonishing....Watch out Corvetts, here I come!
