Nothing changes how confident you feel in a corner like cutting down on body roll. This 1-5/8" diameter front bar ties the axle and frame together to keep the chassis level through quick maneuvers and tight turns. It balances weight transfer, so the vehicle feels planted and predictable instead of leaning and swaying when the road twists or traffic shifts.
Crosswinds and big rigs can make a tall or heavy vehicle dance around. With this system mounted to the front axle, it uses the weight of the axle to brace the frame as it shifts, taking the drama out of those moments. The result is less steering correction, more stability on the highway, and a smoother, more relaxed drive even when the road gets busy or uneven.
That constant side-to-side movement wears you out over time. By minimizing sway, the bar reduces the effort it takes to keep your line straight, so you can focus on driving instead of fighting the wheel. You’ll notice the difference after a few miles — the ride feels steady, and your shoulders stay relaxed instead of tense.
This isn’t a basic steel setup. The bar is built from thick 4140 chromoly, a chromium-molybdenum alloy that’s much harder and stronger than the 1020 steel used in standard bars. That extra strength and stiffness translate directly to better control and long-term durability. The polyurethane bushings resist oil, gasoline, and ozone, so they don’t squish out or wear down quickly, keeping support consistent year after year.
Everything’s built for a clean, bolt-on setup. The bar comes with heavy-gauge mounting hardware, bushing lubricant, and clear instructions. No drilling is required, and once it’s in place, it’s ready to work alongside other suspension upgrades without interference.

Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Roadmaster front anti-sway bar and this system is going to mount to the front axle into the frame of your vehicle to help minimize your side to side movement for improved overall stability of your vehicle. It's also going to minimize the effort required to keep your vehicle in line to help reduce your driver fatigue. It's also going to allow you to execute turns and quick maneuvers with confidence while allowing for a nice level ride even on your irregular surfaces. So basically these are going to do about the same thing that your shocks do for your up and down movement, these are gonna do for your side to side movement. So it's just gonna give you a lot more stability.
This is designed to fit your 2017 and newer Class C Freightliner M2 with either 8,000 pound or 10,000 pound axles. Now, this will work in conjunction with your Freightliner suspension system. It has been engineered to avoid interference with most popular aftermarket add-ons and accessories, so you won't have to worry about that. And we do have the installation instructions available on our product page so you can see everything that's involved but pretty straightforward using those. This is constructed of 1 5/8 inch thick 4140 chromoly steel for superior strength.
Also uses polyurethane bushings instead of your standard rubber varieties for a nice long-lasting system. Polyurethane is more durable and resistant to damage caused by oils, gasoline, and ozone and less wear means that it's going to give you better support for a longer lasting system. This kit does include this heavy gauge mounting hardware, as well as the bushing lubricant that you need, as well as the instructions, like I mentioned, being on the product page to help you get everything installed. I consider myself a pretty strong guy and this does take quite a bit to lift up. So definitely something that you're gonna wanna make sure you're capable of doing, lifting that weight to get it put in place. Otherwise, it might be good to have a second set of hands or something like that, helping you with it.

I have taken a few trips with the Clatter Cabin now. It’s been enjoyable to drive. Since then I have replaced the exhaust from the engine back with 2 12 inch pipe. I was able to get the pre bent exhaust parts over the axle and clear your rear sway bar nicely. Now she purrrrs!

After a year and many miles I would give it a five star for sure. Made a great improvement over the stock anti-sway bar. With the rear and front RoadMaster anti-sway along with the RoadMaster steering stabilizer the E-450 33 foot class C motorhome drives like a dream. I highly recommend these three products. If not all at once then this order, 1st rear anti sway bar then 2nd front and then the steering stabilizer with the spring on it.

The two Roadmastercsway bars weve been using continue to impress and perform like they did on day one. Driving back across the country with some days having stiff criswinds continually we rode comfortably and never had handling or steering issues. I remain adamant that these are undoubtedly the best products on the market for this application and welcome any questions. For reference my truck is a 2018 F350 crew cab DRW, 6.7 diesel 4x4 long bed with Bigfoot 3000 series truck camper. Get the Roadmasters!

This is a complete game changer when using a truck camper Mine is an Arctic Fox 990. I would list this under a must have accessory when using a truck camper. Unloaded ride when you hit off camber bumps is slightly rougher, but hey its a Ram 3500 dually for hauling heavy stuff. Also the performance when carving twisty canyons with an empty truck is astonishing....Watch out Corvetts, here I come!
