Today, I have a 2007 Starcraft Homestead Lite Fifth Wheel, and I'm going to walk you through how to install the Patrick Distribution, shower head, and hose. This is going to be a great upgrade to maybe an old worn out one or maybe you upgraded your actual faucet itself to the Patrick Distribution faucet and you want something that matches. I think this is going to be a really nice upgrade.It's going to be a satin nickel finish, so it's going to match exactly with the faucet itself. It's going to have an auto shutoff, or it's going to have a shut off valve, I should say.
We just turn that and it will shut the water off. It's going to be a drip shut off, and what that means is when we shut it off, it's not just going to stop flowing. It's actually going to drip for a second to clear any water out of the inside of the head here. Our hose itself is going to be 60 inches long and it's going to be a durable, rubber construction. It's going to have a coating on it.
If for some reason it hits up against the sidewall of the inside of your shower, we don't have to worry about it damaging it.Starting installation, we're going to add one of the rubber O-rings into one end of the hose and we simply thread it onto our shower head. Next, we're going to hang our new shower head holder up. You want to make sure that the rounded edges here, you notice the bottom's different, the rounded side's facing up. You want to make sure you don't over tighten because you don't want to break this, crack it. Once we get that installed, we're going to install our hose ring.
Now, if you don't have preexisting holes and this is something new that you're installing, it is going to come with hardware to get this installed. It will come with the wall anchors and the screws. We're going to feed the other end through the ring. We're going to put the other rubber O-ring in and we're going to attach it to the top of our faucet.Now, we'll go ahead and turn on our water. I'm going to shut it off, make sure we don't have any leaking around here if we need to tighten it down.
Any leaking around here. Maybe we need to tie it down and then check on the backside of this in the wall and make sure we don't have any leaking there and then make your adjustments. That's going to do it for a look at an installation on a Patrick Distribution, shower head, and hose on a 2007 Starcraft Homestead Lite Fifth Wheel.
