RV shower valve lets you attach a handheld shower set (sold separately) so you can wash up after a long day at the campsite. Vacuum breaker makes sure that your dirty shower water won't flow backward and contaminate your clean water supply.

The vacuum breaker lets you attach a handheld shower set (sold separately) to make cleaning mud and sand off the kids, pets, and shower walls even easier. The vacuum breaker also has an anti-siphon device - a small air hole that drains water back out of the hose to prevent your dirty shower water from contaminating your clean water supply.
To install, use the inlet shanks to drop the new valve and deck plate in place of your existing valve. Then hand-tighten the included mounting nuts against the back of the wall, and connect the hot and cold water lines. You'll need to keep some tub and tile caulk (not included) on hand to help prevent any leaking.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Phoenix faucets 4" dual handle RV shower valve. This unit adds or replaces a shower valve in your RV. It's going to feature the dual, clear acrylic knobs that gives the unit a really nice look. It's also going to feature the vacuum breaker for attaching the hand-held shower. Hand-held shower is not included. We do offer those separately here at etrailer.com.
The unit's also designed to prevent water backflow which is going to help prevent contamination of your fresh water supply. The unit's made from a durable, plastic construction, and the base has a really good looking chrome finish. The mounting area's going to require two holes for your installation. These connectors are for the hot and cold water lines. They're separated on center by about 4". The length of those connectors measures 2" long.
It's going to come with that plastic backplate, and it's going to come with the plastic mounting nuts as well. The outer diameter on those connectors is 13/16" with an inner diameter of 1/2". The shower hose connector has an outer diameter of 13/16". If we take a look at the overall length, measuring edge to edge, the unit's going to give us a measurement of about 6 1/4". Right here at the base it's going to be about 2 1/8" and then from the back of the plate, or from the mounting area, to the furthest outpoint is going to give us a depth of about 3".
It's got a flow rate of 2.5 gallons per minute. It's made in USA and IAPMO certified. That's going to do it for today's look at the Phoenix faucets 4" dual handle RV shower valve. .

Only time will tell. I installed the shower faucet yesterday after numerous trips to the hardware store. The problem was not the faucet but the PEX water lines in the 5th wheel. Successful installation (I think). Thanks etrailer for getting the faucet to me in a timely manner. I wanted a brass innards faucet and you were able to supply it!
Installed , functions well, the shower wand from my 66 Airstream hooked up, I had some difficulty trying to use metal facet lines on the plastic fittings, so I used a plastic female pex and transitioned it to a metal MIP fitting and got it connected. Its is almost, if not all, plastic but I'm sure it is a good value for the price and it closely matches the appearance of the stock facwt.

This faucet was exactly as described and I received it in time to install it before a planned trip.

Removed bathroom sink from 2018 R Pod model 171. Replaced original bathroom faucet with Phoenix shower diverter faucet. Plastic cover over hole where sink waste pipe went through wall was made from part of sink plastic surround. 3 pics: Two after pictures (note vent pipe opening covered). Well first a review of the etrailer website, it is fantastic. I needed a faucet that had a 2 inch threaded base not the standard 1.5 and no other site had the spec's, etrailer did. The faucet was just what i needed three minute install on a one day job and poof the shower in my 97 popup was back to work.
Delivered promptly and works great.
Works fine. I had to notch out the round access panel for shower hose to fit on. Previous owner or manufacturer installed upside down to get it to work but the valve operation was not correct. Left-on, right-off is correct operation.
Great replacement and in chrome. I am replacing an outside faucet to my 5th wheel RV which sprang a leak on the threads for hot/cold. I must not have winterize very well. Very happy with the quick delivery and cost.
