This bathtub will replace your old, cracking tub so you can take a relaxing soak after a fun day of hiking and swimming. You can put a bar of soap, a shampoo bottle, a razor, and other toiletries on the flat outer ledge and be able to grab them quickly while you're bathing. Should you want to take a shower instead of a bath, the textured floor will help prevent you from slipping and falling, and the 3-sided tile flange will help prevent water from being splashed behind the tub and causing water damage to the wall.
This bathtub easily replaces or upgrades your existing RV tub or shower pan with a front drain hole setup. Mounting hardware is not included. After the floor or pedestal has been cleaned of debris, set the bathtub in place, making sure the pre-installed foam base is sitting securely and evenly. This foam base supports the bathtub so it won't crack over time, and it'll dampen the sound of the tub filling up with water. Once the bathtub has been installed, it is compatible with any standard 2" drain strainers.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this Better Bath parchment RV bathtub with front drain. Now, if you are looking to replace or upgrade the tub in your RV or camper bathroom, this might be just what you need. As you can see, this tub is going to fit your front drain hole setups. And this three-sided tile flange is going to help prevent water from seeping behind the pan and possibly damaging the wall inside of your RV or camper's bathroom.
Now, taking a look again at our wide view, as you can see, there's a pre-installed, half-inch thick foam base that's going to provide support to prevent the tub from cracking, but it's also going to dampen the sound of water filling the tub. So, going back to our overhead view here, it's gonna be very difficult for you to see probably, especially because of the color of this tub, but we have a textured, anti-slip floor in this tub that's gonna give you better traction. So, it's gonna reduce the chance of you falling when you're taking a shower or getting in and out of the tub. And it's not overly rough. It's actually very comfortable to the touch.
But it does feel like, to me, that's gonna give you just that little bit of confidence when you're standing on this that your feet are not going to easily slip, especially when this is wet. Also, we do have this flat outer ledge that's going to hold your soap and shampoo, and other toiletries, so you can quickly grab them while you're showering or while you're bathing. Now, this is made in the USA of a durable, scratch resistant ABS thermoplastic polymer construction with this parchment finish. It's kind of like a beige color. Again, the color's probably not accurately coming over that, but it's really like a beige color.
So, if you have that color in your RV or camper bathroom, this is going to match really nicely with that. And this thermoplastic polymer construction is going to be lighter and more environmentally friendly than fiberglass. This is gonna be an easy bolt-on installation, but I do wanna point out that hardware is not included. So, that's something that you would have to pick up separately if you don't already have that. This is IAPMO certified, CSA compliant, and ASME certified.
Now, let me go ahead and give you some overall dimensions just so you can be sure that this is going to work for your situation. The overall length, we are sitting, on the exterior length, we are sitting right at 40 inches long. And then the exterior width, overall, we're sitting right at about 24 inches wide. And then the overall depth, we are sitting right at 11 3/4 inches deep. Now, looking at the interior length, we are sitting, it's probably gonna be hard for you to see my tape measure from that angle but we are sitting right at 36 inches long in the interior. And then looking at the interior width, we are sitting right at 19 inches wide. And then the depth on the inside here, right where the tub begins to flare out, we are sitting right at 10 1/2 inches. Bring that up here so you can see that just a little bit better. 10 1/2 inches deep. The drain hole diameter is two inches. And again, this is gonna be for your front drain setups. And the distance from the drain hole to the closest edge is right at 7 1/4 inches. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
