Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at these GSI Outdoors Escape collapsible cups, and we have one in green and one in blue. I do wanna mention that, depending on which color you want, you can get one green one or you can get one blue one. So, depending on which color you want, just take the appropriate model number, part number that you see there on your screen, pop it in the search field or our website. That will take you to the color that you want and you can add that to your order. These are collapsible silicone cups and they are designed specifically for backpacking and camping.
The big advantage is how compact it is. So, this one I've left fully expanded, and you can see just the difference it makes when this other one, the blue one, here, is fully collapsed. When you're not using it, it's going to fold up completely flat, just like this, so it barely takes up any space in your pack. When it's collapsed down, it's not even 1", maybe 11/16" tall. So, basically slim enough to slide into almost any pocket or pouch.
Then, when you pop it open, this is going to hold about 15 fluid ounces. So, it's gonna be a great size for coffee in the morning, soup at camp, or even just water on the trail. This will work with both hot and cold drinks, so you don't have to worry about switching cups depending on what you're having. And while I have them expanded, let me see if I can give you some measurements, here. We're sitting pretty close to 3 1/2" tall.
And the diameter of the top, I'm gonna call it right at 4", maybe a little over, it looks like, from that angle. Maybe about 4 1/4". The bottom, about 2 1/2", maybe a little over 2 1/2". I just wanted to give you a good idea of the size. I wanted to see if you could see it, here, and you might not be able to, but inside, there's molded measurement markings, which are gonna be really handy if you need to measure water for dehydrated meals or recipes while camping.
So, that's really one less tool you have to bring. Another nice touch is the nylon rim around the top. Since the body is flexible and silicone, the rim's gonna give it structure and stability, so it's gonna feel sturdy in your hand and it's not gonna flop around while you're drinking. (hand tapping) The base is going to be nylon as well. So, overall, great additions to your camping gear, and they're gonna be very practical as well. Again, you can either get this in green or blue. And whichever color you want, just punch in the appropriate part number. If you happen to have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach out. We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, they call me Andy. Thank you for joining me.
