Features to know about

Your Small-Space Organizer

Seismic center console storage with cupholders

When your RV seating never seems to have enough room for drinks or the stack of remotes that always goes missing, this slim 5" Seismic console fills that gap. It connects between your left- and right-arm recliners with built-in metal tabs, giving you two cupholders and a flip-top storage compartment without taking up valuable space. It's the piece that keeps movie nights tidy, phones corralled, and drinks within reach, especially when you're trying to unwind after travel days.

Matches Your McCoy Seating

Wrapped in the same McCoy PolyHyde as your Seismic recliners, this console blends into your setup like it was installed from day one. The soft, leather-like finish feels upscale but wipes clean after pets jump up, you spill a drink, or dirt gets tracked in after setting up camp. It pulls your whole loveseat together and gives your space a clean, finished look.

Easy to install, great color.

We got the complete set (left, right and 5" center console) to replace our 4 year old OE theater seating that was peeling. We like the look and feel of this new set as well as the enhanced massage and heat. It's really great to have a full size cup holder in the center console & each armrest. The furniture is solid and seems to be well made. Installation and assembly was relatively easy. It does have some weight, even when disassembled, so be prepared for that and have a helper and mover's pad or old comforter available to get it into your RV without damage.
Why did we buy Thomas Payne again? The 7 year fabric warranty was the main reason. This set also has a heavier weight foam that is still comfortable but should hold up for the long haul. Pricing through etrailer was very competitive and less expensive than a direct order.
Some things we learned. The power supply is zip tied under the seat to the frame in a small box. The installation manual doesn't clearly show where to connect the power supply to the chair. Fig 8 shows the power supply and does say "the AC adapter plugs into the back lower corner of each seat (Fig 9D)". The illustration in Fig 9D seems to show a cable coming from the bottom of the seat when there is actually a small plastic receptacle build into the back of the armrest section of the seat. The power supply has a locking clip that must be removed to get the cable to seat in the receptacle. That locking clip is similar to the two cables that must be connected between the back and the seat for the headrest and lumbar support, so it's a bit confusing because we were looking under the chair for another cable instead of looking for the receptacle.
This item shipped to us from Thomas Payne (Lippert) via freight. Our order to ship time was ~3 weeks (which included the Christmas holidays) and transit time was 5 business days (including New Years) so total order to receipt was ~4 weeks. Everything came on a pallet and the freight company driver was kind enough to put it in our garage.

  • Recommended Reclining Sofa Components with Storage Compartment
Hey Sandra. Hope you had a great Christmas! I checked with Lippert's website and it looks like we do carry all of the available colors for the Thomas Payne line. Some of the components come in and out of stock so they may not be showing up on our website. They can be bolted down as well. We sell the different pieces of the reclining sofas separately so you can customize them for the space you have available. Listed below are some of the examples we have in the McCoy color. • Adding Armrest Console To Thomas Payne Seismic Recliner In Reflection 337RLS RV
That depends, Sylvia, but likely not if yours are McCoy-style seats. The Thomas Payne # TP28AR fits the Dellmead recliners # TP45AR and # TP42AR. For McCoy versions # TP75AR and # TP72AR, you’ll need the # TP33AR instead - same width, same fitment, just the correct color and bracket spacing. How do you like the Reflection so far? Those are super nice, so this top notch furniture will also look super nice in there.

  • Center Console With Armrest Add-On For Thomas Payne Seismic McCoy Recliners In RV
Good question, Zach. The Thomas Payne 12" # TP48AR is actually the Dellmead color console. For your McCoy recliners (left # TP75AR and right # TP72AR), you’ll want the Thomas Payne 12" # TP78AR if you want the 12” version with storage, or # TP33AR for the slimmer 5” option. Same design, just matched in color and vinyl finish. What type of RV is this setup going in, Zac?

  • Will Seismic Recliner From Thomas Payne Have Enough Legroom For Tall People?
They should, Jeff. When fully open, each Thomas Payne Seismic Power Recliner - whether you choose the Dellmead woven fabric models (Left Arm # TP45AR and Right Arm # TP42AR) or the McCoy PolyHyde faux leather models (Left Arm # TP75AR and Right Arm # TP72AR) - extends to about 64 inches deep. That gives solid support for anyone up to roughly 6'4" before your feet start to hang off. The power headrest adjustment helps fine-tune the angle, so taller folks can still recline comfortably even...

  • Can I Mix And Match the Material Of Recliners And Center Consoles From Thomas Payne?
Good question, Krista - technically they’ll connect and function fine, but for a seamless look you’ll want to keep all three pieces in the same color/material family. The Dellmead # TP45AR and # TP42AR use a beige woven fabric that won’t visually match the darker PolyHyde on the McCoy # TP33AR console. For a perfect match, stick with the Dellmead # TP28AR or # TP48AR center console versions. What’s the interior tone in your RV - more light cabinetry or darker walnut? That’ll help narrow...

  • Is There A Difference Between The 5" And 12" Center Consoles For Thomas Payne Seismic Recliners?
Actually, yes there are a few differences, Dianne. The 5 inch console like # TP33AR for McCoy or # TP28AR for Dellmead gives you dual cupholders and basic storage. The 12 inch version # TP78AR or # TP48AR adds a pop-up 110V outlet and USB charging ports. If you like to charge devices or work from your recliner, go with the 12 inch - otherwise, the slimmer one keeps your seating tighter and is a bit more budget friendly. But in all honesty, if you have the room for it, I'd spend a little...

  • Finding Center Console To Connect McCoy Seismic Recliners Together From Thomas Payne
Yep, unfortunately it does sound like you got the wrong one, John. The # TP28AR is the Dellmead console, so it’ll look off next to your McCoy recliners. You’ll want the # TP33AR 5” or # TP78AR 12” instead - both are built with the same McCoy PolyHyde vinyl and will lock perfectly into your seats # TP75AR left and # TP72AR right. Do you still have the box or order details from the other place you ordered it from? You should be able to return it to them. :)

  • Availability of Theater Seating to Match Thomas Payne Trifold in Canvas Back Granite
Hi Jeanette; the Thomas Payne Trifold RV Loveseat and Sleeper - 80" Long # LC64FC is the only thing we have in the Canvas Back Granite color. The closest match with any kind of furniture is the Thomas Payne Dual Reclining RV Loveseat # TP98KR which is Ebro Graphite. For theater seating the only "gray" option is McCoy. You can choose from the following: -Thomas Payne Heritage Right Arm RV Recliner # TP25AR -Thomas Payne Heritage Left Arm RV Recliner # TP35AR -Thomas Payne Heritage RV...

  • 3 Seat Recliner And Center Console Options For 2021 Montana Fifth Wheel RV
Great question, Justin. The 5-inch Seismic console # TP33AR gives you a slim profile with dual cupholders and a small storage compartment - perfect if you want to save space in your slideout. The 12-inch version # TP78AR adds a pop-up 110V outlet with dual USB ports, so you can charge devices or run small electronics right from your seat. Both consoles slide directly between your McCoy recliners ( # TP72AR and # TP75AR) using the same interlocking brackets, and all share the same PolyHyde...

  • 2022 Solitude - Adding Center Console Armrest With Cupholders To Thomas Payne Seismic Power Recliner
Rachel, expect about 7" more width from the 12" center console with cupholders # TP78AR over the basic 5" center console with cupholders # TP33AR. The 5" gives the theater look; the 12" adds deep storage and USB, along with an AC 3 prong outlet. If you’ve got ~72" or more of wall, the 12" would be great. What’s your exact wall clearance? I’ll run the numbers with you.

  • Is There A Way To Add Small Armrest With Cupholders In Between Thomas Payne Seismic Recliners In RV?
Yes, you can, Chris. The 5” McCoy center console # TP33AR is made exactly for that. It’s designed to drop in between your existing McCoy Thomas Payne Seismic recliners 2024044201 # TP75AR left and 2024044200 # TP72AR right using the built-in latch system. You’ll get two cupholders and a slim shared armrest without changing your current seating layout. How are you liking that Grand Design Reflection? Those are super nice!

  • Bought Thomas Payne Seismic McCoy Recliner And Want To Add Center Armrest With Cupholders
Allen, you’ve got it. For McCoy recliners # TP75AR left and # TP72AR right, you'll want to go with # TP33AR for the slim 5" console or # TP78AR for the 12" with storage/USB. Both match the McCoy vinyl perfectly and would clip into place very easily with the included brackets on the recliners and center consoles. Are you tight on wall space, or would the extra storage be handy? That’ll decide it. I'm partial to the larger one since it has a deep storage compartment along with the addition...
