Staying connected on the road takes more than campground WiFi. This rooftop system combines 5G cellular, extended WiFi, Starlink compatibility, local HDTV, GPS tracking, and Halo smart sensor support in one connected hub.
Internet on the road changes from one campground to the next. Some parks have strong WiFi while others have slower or overloaded networks. The ConnecT 5G creates one private WiFi network inside your RV, then gets that network online through 5G or 4G LTE cellular service, available campground WiFi, or a compatible Ethernet internet source. Your phones, laptops, streaming devices, and other connected equipment stay on the ConnecT network as you change internet sources. Dual-band WiFi supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz connections, with a maximum WiFi range of up to 1.5 miles.
The built-in Ethernet connection gives you another way to get your RV online and supports compatible Starlink systems. Connect Starlink or another compatible wired internet source through Ethernet and keep your devices on the same ConnecT network instead of creating another separate WiFi network inside your RV. Dual Mini SIM slots also support compatible cellular service through Winegard FreedomGO, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon.
The ConnecT 5G also includes an omnidirectional over-the-air HDTV antenna that receives compatible local broadcasts from towers up to 55 miles away. Built-in GPS works with compatible location-based features through the RV Halo app, while built-in Bluetooth connects directly to compatible Halo Smart Sensors without adding a separate dongle. Add the Halo Smart Sensor Kit, Halo Water Leak Sensor, Halo Motion Sensor, Halo Temperature and Humidity Sensor, or Halo Door and Window Sensor (WG69BJ, WG49BJ, WG79BJ, WG89BJ, or WG99BJ - sold separately) depending on what you want to monitor. Remote monitoring requires connectivity and an RV Halo app subscription.
The ConnecT 5G mounts permanently on your RV roof and runs on 9V - 16V DC power at up to 1.7A. The included 20' power cable connects the rooftop system to your RV's power supply. You'll also want Butyl tape and self-leveling lap sealant (AL66FJ and DC94SR - sold separately) to seal the mounting area and roof penetrations against water intrusion.
