RV sewer elbow combines rotating black-water waste valves. 3" Spigots slide into 2 separate black-water lines. Bayonet cap fits over the 3" lug fitting that connects to your sewer hose.
Features:
This RV sewer elbow with rotating valves is a part of your motor home's waste management system. The elbow combines the flow of wastewater from your black-water tanks. And the valves can be rotated as desired during setup to make it easier to reach. Connect your sewer hose to the 3" lug fitting on the elbow and open the valves to drain your holding tanks.

Today we're going to take a look at the Valterra RV Rotating Double Ell Waste Valve assembly. It has a 3-inch spigot end on each end and a 3-inch bayonet cap end. This is made of a durable hard plastic construction. It is designed for installation on a black water system. The double ell design if you look at it, basically the two tubes you can see form a double ell look to it. The bayonet end right here is designed for use with this included bayonet cap.
You can see the cap is tethered to the tube so you won't lost it or you can connect the drain hose to this bayonet fitting. A bayonet fitting has the 4 pins on the tube and then the cap or the drain hose whichever you use, will have hooks on it either 2 or 4, that you would just twist on there and it locks it and gives you a nice secure connection. Both of these waste valve bodies right here, they are a Bladex design and these are used to open or close the tube opening at each end. Just like that they're open or closed. What's nice about this .. Let me open both of them.
If you look through there it gives you a nice 3-inch diameter passage which will allow the waste to travel freely when they're open and then when you close it, the valves will tightly seal off the black water pipes when it's closed. Both of these valve bodies can be rotated on the pipe to fit your specific application. If you need to put the handle in a position where you can reach it, all you have to do is remove the 4 nuts and bolts, rotate the valve body to your desired position and then tighten it down. Both of these valve bodies have the metal valve shafts. You can see when I pull it out they have metal valve shafts and plastic end handles on each end. I do want to give you a few dimensions. The spigot ends which are on each end here, they have the same inside or internal diameter and that's going to be right at 3 inches.
On the bayonet cap end, we'll take the cap off. If I put a ruler in there, you can see they're going to be 3-inch inside diameter also. That should do it for the review on the Valterra RV Rotating Double Ell Waste Valve assembly, 3-inch spigot ends on each end and a bayonet cap end.

Quick delivery and good quality product
The exact replacement part for my motorhome. easy install.
We broke the original part five hours from home and no local shops had the part or could order in in less than three weeks. Gave etrailer a call and they set up shipping to the campground we we at in less than four days with expedited shipping. We received the part, better quality than the original and easy install. As a side note even with expedited shipping part was still cheaper than the local shops quoted me and they needed three weeks shipping time. Basically great part and amazing service.
Keeps the sewage inside
great shipping and love the videos. Appreciate your professionalism.
The valves were spot on replacement. Fit perfectly.
The service was excellent as I ordered it on a Sunday and it was shipped out that day which is Great. Product looks like original. and will install soon Thanks for caring!
Installed it about 2 months ago, have not had any problems with it. Much needed upgrade on my '70s model Airstream, worked great in such a tight space, the only one I found that would fit. Also I really like doing business with etrailer, they always email you an update you on the status of your order, great customer service!
Works great. I made a plan and upgraded my RV waste plumbing to be 3" for both the black and grey tanks. Additionally I used flexible rubber fittings for some of the longer pieces instead of gluing it all together. This will be more serviceable in the future if any of the sections of pipe were to fail. I had to replace this valve because the grey tank pipe split along the pipe seam for the second time. Overall, this valve was exactly what I expected and fit with my plumbing plan perfectly.

That sounds like a really solid upgrade. Moving both your black and gray tanks to 3" plumbing and using flexible rubber fittings is a smart call especially for future serviceability. It’s great to hear the valve fit right into your setup and worked exactly as expected. Hopefully that helps prevent any more issues with those pipe seams going forward. Thanks for sharing your experience! What kind of RV do you have?
