Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the Valterra No-Fuss Flush accessory kit. This is a chrome plated inlet folks that's gonna come with the kit here. You got the rubber plug here to cover it whenever it's not in use. And that'll stay on and keep it from getting dirt and debris and stuff.
When you do need it, you simply connect the hose fitting and tighten it. On the back end here, it's gonna connect with your adapter. You're gonna have included Teflon tape here to finish this connection off and everything and make sure nothing leaks, et cetera. And then depending on which hose fitting you need, you've got a couple options here to do so. Now it's a screen washer on this unit that's gonna keep debris from entering your system.
And you got two, what they call MGHT barbed hose fixes here to let you hook up a 1/2 inch or 5/8 inch water hose, whichever you have. And then the two orange male keepers here hook together once you got those connections and then they hold onto the hose with that barbed fitting. So you'd loosen the set screws here, and then you would put this in with your hose around it, re-tighten it down, and that would give you the end that you need on the hose. Again, you get a set of this pipe thread tape, Teflon tape, whatever you wanna call it, and that's gonna go on there again, to keep leaks out of the threads and everything, keeping everything nice and tight. Now the inlet simply connects to the tank and the outside wall of the RV.
And then you have the adapter that would go on next, and that's your FGHT times 1/2 inch adapter. And then your tape will go on there and then you would use your mounting hardware and everything to finish the installation. Last thing, you got a caution sticker there. It says, "Do not use the tank flush valves unless the full way termination valve is in the open position." So again, make sure you're following those instructions and everything. That's just a reminder visibly to make sure you're doing everything correctly so you're not blowing out hoses and messing things up.
