Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at the RV designer ACE compartment lock. Folks, this is a 5/8 inch long shank here. You're gonna get two sets of keys. You're gonna get the straight cam and the offset cam, along with the threaded nut for installation.
So if you don't know, basically, you'll take off of this, this nut and washer. You'll put the cam on for the right size you need after you've already got this installed into the door. And then of course, you got your two barrel style keys here. And with this design, these keys do not come out when it's unlocked. It must be locked for this key to come back out.
And that is there just mainly so you don't forget that the key is there and that it's unlocked. So, it's a nice little safety feature that they kind of built into the design. I like it myself. And again, these round or barrel style keys, the locksmiths tell us these are one of the hardest ones to pick just by the way they're designed and everything. So, it's a great option for you, quantity one.
The lock size, again, is 5/8 inches long, and it works with door thicknesses up to 3/8 of an inch. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
