Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer. Today we are gonna be taking a look at RV Designer's screw and bolt caps. Now these are great to give the interior of, let's say your trailer, a nicer look or whatever space that you have, and you're using some bolts and screws. This is a good example, I have right here next to me. We got this E-track and you don't want to see these bolt heads, you can just get these caps, put 'em on the very top of that. Now it will require a little bit of installation and a little bit more foresight when it comes to that, and I'll show you how to do that real quick, but just keep in mind you need to have the right type of hardware to use with these.
So that's either gonna be a number 12 screw or a quarter inch bolt. And that's gonna be up to. You can use sizes smaller than that. All right, so let me show you how to put this on. So I'm gonna grab my hardware, and what I'll do is just throw the white section onto that bolt or screw.
I'll typically thread it on there most the way. And what you're looking for this typically is to make sure that head fits inside of that cap, just like that. Now I'm gonna pull that out some, because I want to leave a bit of room so I can use my tool. There we go. And we're just gonna saw it real quick.
That hole's a little bit large since I've already used it for some other stuff, but I'm just doing it for demonstration purposes today. (drill whirring) All right. So now it's on there all the way and all you have to do at this point is grab that black cap here and put it on. And now we have this kind of seamless look. Now I know I have a black one today, but you can also get this in white.
And it's pretty much the same thing with your screws that I have right here. Well, you just kind of start with putting that cap, or that white section on first. (drill whirring) Once it's in place, then you're grab your cap, and there you have it. You have more of a smooth transition now. And that's what the white one's gonna look like. Now when it comes to the packages you get with these, they are gonna come with 14. So that is a fair bit amount, which is usually enough for a lot of your E-tracks, but if you're putting multiple on your walls, you might want to pick up a couple packs. But other than that, that's pretty much it. I think this is something great if you just want more of a seamless look, and you don't want to worry about bumping into the bolt heads themselves, this does go a long way. Now if you guys have any other questions, let us know here at etrailer, and again, I'm Matt, and thanks for watching.

Our local hardware store did not have anything like this. Installed them today and they are perfect! Thanks!
Re screw covers: Nice surprise; i.e., I assumed I would have to treat these with some "Bulldog" plastic primer but it turns out that the latex wall paint I am using adhered to the covers just fine. The covers are a dull off-white color and ready to paint. Great product and, not surprisingly, they were shipped the day after I hit the buy button.
Worked well for my project. Caps snap on tightly.
