Hi everyone, Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a look at our RV Designer plug. It's a six way, die cast metal plug. Folks, this is designed for the trailer side of your wiring. So this kind of wiring is a lot of times on gooseneck trailers, sometimes construction trailers, heavy-duty equipment trailers, farm equipment, agricultural things like that, but you can sometimes find them on normal trailers and some of the older campers that are out there and stuff as well. So it is a pretty fairly quick install.

You got the rubber boot here on the back. Your wire's gonna go in here. You have a set screw. You have another set screw up here and you'll undo that, pull this apart. Your wires will come in through the back.

Make sure you put them wires through this boot as well. Don't wire everything up and then be like, "Oh, dang it!" I've done that myself, so speaking from experience. So you'll wire everything up, put it back together, put the set screw back in, tighten that set screw down, the whole domain wire plug, and then you're good to go. So it is a nice die cast construction with a heavy-duty plastic end. You got your brass terminals here, and again, you got this rubber boot back here on the back.
