Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this Furrion Arctic RV refrigerator with freezer. Now this refrigerator sleek stainless steel front is going to, I think, compliment most RV kitchens. And this is going to run on your 12 volt power. So this can run off of your RV's battery for long off grid or boondocking trips and off grid settings are going to help conserve energy for when you need it most.
Let's talk measurements before we go any further. So I know it's probably gonna be hard for you to actually see the tape measure here from that distance, but the overall height, we're sitting pretty close to 53 and 1/8th inches tall. The overall width, we are sitting pretty close to, my tape measure cooperates there right at 24 and a 1/4 inches wide. And then the depth back to front about 25 and 3/4 inches deep. So that's going to be the size of this unit.
Now I do have this on a floor dolly, so it's going to sit a little bit taller with me than if it was just sitting on a floor, but I left it on that dolly 'cause it has wheels and it's going to allow me to easily give this a spin just so you can, I can show you hopefully as much as possible the entire unit. So you see down here where this is going to connect to your 12 volt power, this hard wire in. And so just give you a view of all the sides here and we'll go back to the front and talk a little bit more about this unit. So this RV refrigerator does have reversible doors that can be installed in either direction. And so it'll be flexible in that way.
This one's going to arrive with left hand opening doors. So this is gonna open to your left, but you're gonna be able to swap them out easily. This does come with plastic inserts to put into the side of the door that's actually going to be hinged. And then you'll take this insert out so you can use it as a handle. Hopefully that makes sense.
But if you get this and somewhere down the road you wanna switch the way that this opens, it's gonna be very easy to do and it comes with the hardware to do that. But I really do like these handles. When you close it, it's locked into place and then you just have to push down on the refrigerator door and then on the freezer door it's the same thing, but you're just going to lift up to open it. So I really do like that. Now let me see if I'm still lined up here on my lower camera here. Let me just push this into the center just a little bit so you can have kind of a closer view. And again, that stainless steel's going to look great and so you're not gonna have to worry about this accidentally popping open while you're going down the road with those locking handles. Let me give that, open that up all the way there so you have a good view there. So the capacity there is 8 cubic feet. So you've got a lot of space to work with. The shells are movable, they're glass, which is nice, so they're gonna be easy to clean up. But to get to adjust the shelving, you're going to have to remove these blocks right here and right here. And because that keeps the shelves in. So if you wanna move this down to a lower rail, you'll just have to remove the blocks and slide it down. Same with the shelves down here. Again, that's just to keep them from sliding out or moving around on you when you're going down the road. Down here you've got a drawer for vegetables or fruits, crisper. So that's down there. And then on the side here, we do have storage shelving as well. And what's nice is, I know it's probably gonna be hard for you to see, but they have little icons of what you could put here like eggs or cheese, pickles or something like that. And then your ketchup or mustard bottles or salad dressings or whatever. And then in the freezer door you could put your pizza rolls there, ice packs, something like that. Plenty of room for ice cream, frozen goods and things like that. You do have the ability to adjust the temperature right here. And this does also have a charcoal filter inside, so it's going to keep unwanted odors out, which is a nice touch. So everything that you need in here to keep everything organized. And obviously I don't have it connected to 12 volt power, but hopefully you can get a good view in there. So this also features an off-grid setting that's gonna help conserve energy when you need it most. Again, pretty simple installation. It's just gonna hot hardwire directly into your 12 volt line and this refrigerator weighs about 120 pounds or so. (refrigerator door shuts) Nice solid closing as well. This does come with instructions to guide you through the easy installation and operation as well. We do also have this refrigerator in black, so if you're not too fond of the stainless steel, we do have a black option as well. So you can find that here at etrailer.com. If you do decide that this fridge is going to be exactly what you need. Once you get it installed and you've used it for a while, we would love to hear back from you. So when you get time, if you would drop a comment on this product page, sharing your experience using this refrigerator, how it's been working out for you. And we would also love to see pictures of it in action in your RV kitchen. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that our brief time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
Looks good set it up so far works right only 1 day of operation time will tell
Fridge is good quality and cooled down to temperature in a fraction of the time. Haven't had a chance to use it yet besides just running it while in storage.
Madison was a doll! The products and the quick responses are excellent. The weak link is the shipping Co. Tforce ( formerly UPS freight). They are junk! They show up unanounced or planned and if you are not able to drop what you are doing or you may not be there at that time they just go back to their terminal and charge you for another delivery even if you want to do a customer pickup. Tforce is all about extra fees! They dont answer their phone, dont return messages even tho we specified 24 hr call before delivery with the shipper. Puts a serious dent in the otherwise excellent etrailer. Unfortunately etrailer tells me they only use this shipping Co.
Things were good until it come to shipping out the refrigerator. Zero tracking was available. Had absolutely no idea when it would show up.
Very nice fridge, easy install. Some considerations must be made if you are putting it in an rv, you must secure it without damaging the internals and it does not have an off setting in the controls so you should put in an on/off switch to cut the 12v power for when you are not using the rv. Also it doesn’t have door locks for travel mode, but those are miner things and this fridge is a great upgrade from the old gas electric we had!
Delivery was really quick. I had expected roughly 2 weeks shipping time and I received it within a week. Customer service was great answering my questions ahead of time. I had one issue where the door panels were not shipped. One very quick phone call and the problem was addressed and I received the parts within a couple of days.
Great job etrailer!
Looks and works great. Cooled down within a couple of hours on a 100+ degree afternoon.
I've only had it a week but it seem to be really nice
Everyone I dealt with was super helpful, from the sales associate to customer service and the experts. Our new fridge is installed and running great. It also looks awesome.
This was a joy Etrailor was spot on with the recommendation and it’s the best refrigerator you could ever put in an RV thank you so much
It works great! The only thing we don’t like is the size of the freezer! Not very deep or wide. Can’t fit a frozen pizza or a rack of ribs you buy at the store. As for freezing and fridge it works way better then the combo gas/elec!
I really like this refrigerator. However it seems to have a design flaw with maintaining consistent temperature. The location on the temp sensor in the fresh food section is in a bad location.. seems like when anything is placed on the top shelf.. the sensor determines temperature is satisfied prematurely. With nothing on the top shelf and set for 32.. it seems to maintain 36 or 37 deg o,k...
Honestly I was septical about it
But after 1 year I am getting confident
The refregirator is the best we ever had before
The only thing There is no travelling lock for the doors
We love this 12 volt refrigerator. It has more space, especially freezer, than our previous gas/electric combo. It works more efficiently without all the problems. The only con is that you are tethered to an electrical source,
