Marine-grade plug cover keeps plugs dry in wet conditions. Used when rewiring a new female plug on the end of your 30-amp RV or marine power cord. Locking ring creates a weatherproof connection. Polycarbonate and polyamide construction. Silver color.
Features:
Plug cover replaces a damaged cover or locking ring on your RV or marine power cord. Installing it requires the cord's connector to be removed and rewired, whether you are using a new connector or the existing one. To install, remove the old cover and plug, feed the cord through the opening of the new cover, and wire the plug. The new cover then slides over the plug body.

Today we're taking a look at a Furrion connector cover. This is a marine grade plug cover that keeps your plug dry in wet conditions. It's designed for use in conjunction with the Furrion 30 amp and 16 amp connectors. This specific plug is made for female connectors. It also comes with the locking ring, which creates a weatherproof connection point. It comes with a bonus weatherproof sealing cap, so that's like a tether.
And that has a cap on the end of it that you can fit over the connection point. We're looking at a polycarbonate and polyamide construction. Nice weatherproof design, very flexible. And when it comes to the color, it's a silver in color. That's going to do it for today's look at the Furrion connector cover..

After a year or so, the cover is working fine. I stand with the original post in that it should have clearly stated it only works with a Furrion plug.
