Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this 4-1/2 inch long 12 volt RV LED reading light with a nice satin nickel finish to it. Now, this lamp is perfect for reading in bed, on a couch, or even at a table in your RV. Has a nice swivel jointed arm here that you can angle the light in any direction you need. It does include energy efficient LEDs, which will last longer and burn brighter than incandescents, and it has a color temperature of the light of 3,200 degrees Kelvin. Now to turn on this light, it has this touch activated button right here at the bottom, lets you turn the light on and off.
And I just wanted to demonstrate that. We have it hooked up to some 12 volt power. You just touch that button once and you'll notice it'll come on with the night light right there. And then if you touch it a second time, then the regular light comes on. Now, I do wanna demonstrate it.
Let's turn the whole thing off. We're gonna go ahead and turn off the overhead light. So again, touch it once and there's your night light that'll show. Touch it a second time and you have both lights on. And as you can see, it's a very bright light.
Actually, if I even zoom out, you'll see how much area it lights up. And then again, just touch it and it turns it off. We'll go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights. Now, we mentioned the finish. It is a nice satin nickel finish to it, gives you a nice, sleek, modern look.
It is an easy bolt-on installation onto your ceiling or wall. Comes with the two screws for installing it, and it is a two-wire design. I'm gonna go ahead and unhook this and you'll see it has a white wire for your ground and a black wire for your power. Specs again, uses 12 volt DC power. The dimension on this from the very back to the front is about 4-1/2 inches long, and the diameter or width is about 2-1/2 inches in diameter. But that's gonna do it for a look at this 4-1/2 inch long 12 volt RV LED reading light with the nice satin nickel finish.

This was just about perfect to provide individual reading lights to save us having to get up out of bed to turn lights off after reading at night. The one thing I would do differently is make the brightness adjustable because it's more light than I really need. Point it away to reduce brightness and it works fine.

The led reading lights arrived quickly and were easy to install
This is exactly what we needed to replace the glaring flat led lights above our bed.
The only obstacle was the existing holes in the ceiling and needing to find a plate to cover the hole to keep the new fixture from collapsing into the gap! [etrailer] to the rescue!

Nice quality light fixture,I was surprised to find it has a night light feature as part of the switch and a USB port on the base. These two features were not noted in the add. Very nice easy to install comes with two screws.

This is my second set of these lights. First set replaced an inadequate pair of wall lamps over the bed in my first trailer. They were prefect for reading and my wife loved them. They also added USB charging to an older trailer. If I could have recovered them from that trailer for the new one, I would have.
The new trailer did not have enough USB changing ports or bedside reading lamps, so I bought a second set and tied them into the existing USB port wiring. I didn't have a helper or long enough arms to fish wires into the wall, so they ended up on the night stand. I was worried that they would not be flexible enough to point where I wanted, but they work great mounted like that.
It works and matches exactly the other reading light that came in our trailer.

Easy to install over the master bedroom head board in an ORV 23DBS as additional reading light. They come with standard white and black wires for RV connection. They have a solid construction. I can’t comment on durability since it was just installed.
Had these lights in my old camper and loved them the new camper doesn’t have them and the lights that are over. The bed are just so bright so I’m going to install them next to that so I can have a small reading light. That’s much better to work with.
