Hello, neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at a B and B RV City Water Inlet with a brass check valve and a recessed dish, and it's black in color. So folks, this city fill water with the check valve is gonna replace a leaking or damage valve on your RV. And the check valve prevents backflow into the main system of the city when under pressure. It's a lead free brass, so it's not gonna rust or corrode or contaminate incoming water. Has a removable screen filter right here in the front.
So that's gonna make it easy to clean, replace if you need to. It's got a grip collar here, much like the end of your garden hose that you're familiar with, that you can tighten or detach the hose. And the tethered plug here is gonna protect the fill point when it's not in use just like that. And it's a corrosion proof plastic. You've got the 3 mounting holes here on the backside.
They give you included mounting hardware that's painted black to match, which is a nice touch. You got a little roll here of butyl tape. If you've never used this stuff, it's like a putty consistency. It'll squish down. You'll simply put that around there and then put your screws through and it'll kind of squeeze it all together and make a nice weather and watertight connection.
Let's see. It has been certified by lots of different certifications. I'll throw 'em up on the screen for you. Made right here in the US with a nice one year warranty. Now the rear water connection is a half inch MPT or mail pipe thread.
And the cutout required is a 3.5 inch diameter. The flange outer diameter is 4 and 3/4 inches wide. And the dish depth here is 3/4 of an inch deep while the valve depth is 2.5 inches deep. Now one thing to note, it's in the instructions as well. Never mess with that check valve and push on its stuff 'cause you could damage it. Well folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our look at this B and B RV City Water Inlet. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.

I purchased this valve to replace an original equipment item that failed after 10 years. It is identical to the original one so I am counting on it lasting another 10 years! Quick shipment got it to me in time for our weekend trip.
I have not received the item. Please send outside tracking information
etrailer does a great job!!
You get what you pay for. I bought the same part with no name brand. I didn't think it would matter. It did and the part was garbage. So glad I was able to find the exact replacement. This one even came with tape and screws.
Worked perfect! Problem solved.
