Yard work, washing the deck, or cleaning around the house can take you a long way from the spigot, but that usually means more hose to carry and put away. This expandable hose reaches 75' during use, then contracts to 26' when empty. At 4 lbs empty, it gives you useful working reach without requiring you to store a conventional full-length 75' hose afterward.
The nozzle end uses a heavy-duty 3/4" brass connector, while the spigot end uses a durable 3/4" nylon connector designed to create a tight seal. The standard connections fit most nozzles, sprinklers, and other common hose accessories, and a built-in shut-off valve lets you control water at the hose end instead of returning to the spigot. This hose is made for yard work, cleaning, car care, and other utility-water jobs. It is not drinking-water safe, so don't use it to transfer potable water or supply an RV fresh-water system.
The kink-free, burst-proof design uses a latex inner liner that resists punctures, tears, and burst pressure, while the abrasion-resistant outer jacket protects the hose during regular handling. Strain relief guards at both ends support the transition between the hose and its connectors and extend the bending radius where hoses take repeated stress. Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this HydroTech Expandable Burst Proof Garden Hose. Now, this hose is designed to be really convenient and easy to use compared to a traditional hose in the garden. So when you turn the water on, this is going to expand out to a full 75 feet. But once the water's off, it's gonna shrink down to about 1/3 of that size, roughly 25 feet. So it's gonna be much easier to store and it doesn't take up nearly as much space.
One of the biggest advantage is how lightweight this is. This weighs about 4 or 4 1/2 pounds when it's empty, and it's about 75% lighter than a standard hose, which is gonna make this super easy to carry around the yard or move between tasks. And this is built to be durable as well. The inner core is made from high-quality latex that's gonna help prevent punctures, tears, and bursting, while the outer fabric is going to resist abrasion, so it's gonna hold up well over time. And just kind of running my fingers over this hose, I can definitely say this does feel very durable, I think it's gonna hold up really well for you.
What's nice about this as well is this is designed to be kink free. The regular traditional garden hose that I have at home kinks up all the time, especially when I'm trying to run it around the house. This is not going to kink up on you, so you're not gonna have to deal with frustrating twists or interruptions in water flow. On the connection side, this uses a 3/4 of an inch brass fitting on the nozzle end for a solid, long-lasting connection, and then a durable nylon connector on the spigot side that's gonna give you a tight seal. There's also no, there's also strain relief rather, built into both ends, which is gonna help reduce wear and keep the hose from weakening where it connects.
Another nice feature is this built-in shutoff valve, so you're gonna be able to easily control the water flow without having to walk back to the faucet. So this is going to work with most standard nozzles, sprinklers, and hose accessories, making this pretty versatile for everyday yard use.
