Heavy-duty bristle fiber material removes dirt and debris easier than standard turf rugs, so there's less sweeping and mopping inside your RV. If your MORryde steps have a removable pin to adjust and lock the legs in place, you have the first generation MORryde StepAbove steps.
If your MORyde steps have a button that releases the legs for adjustment, you have the second generation MORryde StepAbove steps.
The rugs wrap around your steps and secure with included hook-and-loop fastening strips and springs - no screws, glue, or tools needed. For each rug, the 2 hook-and-loop fastening strips stick to the front edge and top, back portion of the step. Once the rug is aligned and pressed firmly to the step, the springs connect the front and back grommet holes of the rug underneath your RV step, giving you a clean, seamless look. Rugs can quickly be removed for cleaning and easily reattached when you're finished.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Prest-O-Fit 4 piece Step Rug set for your MORryde StepAbove RV Steps. And this set is in Buck Skin Brown. So let's take a closer look at this set together. Now as you can see, I do already have these on a set of stairs and the first two top steps are uninstalled just so I can show you how to install this rug set.
In my bottom two, the lower steps are installed so you see what they look like when they're installed on these steps. Now as you can see, this rug set is going to wrap around your MORryde first and second generation 4 step StepAbove RV steps that have a top step tread width of 19-1/2 inches, and a top step depth from 8 inches to 10-1/2 inches. So for our demonstration purposes here I am using a set of steps with a 19-1/2 inch wide by 10-1/2 inch deep top step. Now the material is made of heavy duty UV protected outdoor turf that's going to be resistant to fading as well as to mold and mildew. Lemme give you an overhead view.
Hopefully you can get a closer view of just the texture of these rugs. The strong bristle fibers are going to easily remove the dirt and debris from your shoes. So there's going to be less sweeping and less mopping inside of your RV, which is always a good thing. Then when it's time to clean 'em off, it's gonna be very easy. You can just spray them off with a hose and let it air dry.
They're gonna be very easy to remove off of the steps if you want to clean 'em that way as well. Let 'em air dry and then you can put 'em back into place. Another benefit of having carpet on your steps is that that carpeted design is going to be perfect for your pets as it covers up the hard uninviting metal that might scare them off. Now these rugs have a textured rubberized back, which is going to help keep them in place along with some additional methods to keep them secured on your steps. The top step rug is installed with hook and loop strips at the top, bottom, and sidewalls.
So you will adhere this to the top step and then you can easily detach the hook and loop fasteners to clean the rug and then put it back into place. So you'll just remove the backing from the adhesive and then that's going to allow you to a adhere the hook and loop fasteners to the step itself. And then when you want to remove it, you're just gonna be able to peel away or pull away the hook and loop fastener. So that's how you install this top step. Now as for the lower three steps, they are going to install with rust resistant zinc plated steel springs. They're going to clip into these holes here underneath the step and that's how they are going to be secured onto the step. And the springs are going to provide tension, just enough tension to ensure that they have a nice snug fit. So lemme go ahead and see if I can demonstrate that for you real quick. And so I'm going to actually sit underneath this step so I can see the holes here. And then all you need to do is stretch each spring to the hole on the other side of the rug. So I got the first one in, put the second one in. And what's nice about this is you're not going to need any tools, any glue or anything like that to install these. And then let me go ahead and get over on the other side and install the springs there. And so once you have these installed, these hooked springs are going to give you just enough tension that these step rugs are going to hold in place and you're not gonna have to worry about them coming apart or coming off of each step. Got that one in place. Then our final one here. And it is easier when you can actually see what you're doing. So there we go. So we are in place, all four springs are in place and as you can see they're not gonna move or wiggle or anything like that. So very easy to put into place. And then if you need to, very easy to remove as well. So no tools necessary, no screws, no glue, anything like that. You will get some instructions to walk you through the installation process. And as I mentioned at the beginning of our time together, and as you can see this set is in Buck Skin Brown, but we do also provide this in Obsidian Black.
