The rugs wrap around your steps and secure with included hook-and-loop fastening strips and springs - no screws, glue, or tools needed. For each rug, the 2 hook-and-loop fastening strips stick to the front edge and top, back portion of the step. Once the rug is aligned and pressed firmly to the step, the springs connect the front and back grommet holes of the rug underneath your RV step, giving you a clean, seamless look. Rugs can quickly be removed for cleaning and easily reattached when you're finished.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at this Prest-O-Fit, 3-Piece Step Rug Set. For the 2nd generation, MORyde StepAbove RV steps. And these are in brown. This set is going to wrap around your 2nd generation, MORyde StepAbove steps.
And they're going to give you a place to wipe the dirt, and mud, and grass, and other debris off of your feet. So there's gonna be less sweeping and mopping inside of your RV, which is always a great thing. Now this is for the 2nd generation, and if you're not sure, if you've got the 1st or the 2nd generation. Easy way to tell, is that the 1st generation has a removable pin to adjust and lock the legs in place. The 2nd generation steps have a button that releases the legs for adjustment.
So if you have the button, this set is going to work for your steps. Now these are 17-1/2" wide, with a top step depth of 10-1/2". And they will cover your steps with this heavy duty outdoor turf, that has these strong bristle fibers that's gonna do a great job of removing that dirt, and debris from your shoes. It's also gonna do a better job than standard turf. Now this material is UV resistant, as well as mold and mildew resistant.
When it's time to clean them off, it's very easy. You just spray it off with a hose, let it air dry, and you'll be good to go. The carpeted steps, it's also perfect for pets as it covers hard uninviting metal steps that might scare them off. Now, as you have already seen these rugs have a textured rubberized back, which will help keep them in place. But then in addition to that there are some other methods that are used here to keep these rugs secure.
They also have these hook and loop strips, at the top and at the bottom underneath each rug piece. So you will adhere them to your step and then you'll be able then to easily remove it, to clean it and put it back. But the primary way these are secured to your steps are with these springs. Now let me give you a brief demonstration of how this works. You would just take each end of the spring, with the hooks there on each end and run it through the holes here of these rug pieces. And it's going to provide that tension that you need to keep these rug pieces secure on the step. Now, by the way, these Springs are zinc plated steel. So they are going to resist that rust and corrosion. So this is a three step kit, and the two bottom steps are gonna be the same just like this one. This is one of the two bottom steps. So those two steps are going to be the same. However, the top step is gonna be a little bit different. Let me pull this over here just to give you a demonstration of that. The top step has these longer tabs. It's gonna allow you to run these through the kick plate holes, so that you can get it wrapped around, and hold this rug into place on that top step. So just so you're aware of that, this is designed to go through the kick plate there at the top step. So if you're looking to add some steps, or if you're looking to add some rugs rather to your steps of your 2nd generation, MORyde StepAbove steps. I think this is gonna be a great kit for you. And again, these are in brown. If you would prefer a different color, we do have these in black, and you can find those black ones on our website, using item number, PR 88 SR.
