Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Go Power Slim 100 watt Solar Panel Charging System with the 30 amp PWM solar controller. Now, this is a solar charging system which will provide a nice off-grid charging solution for your 12 volt or 24 volt battery systems. It is a powerful battery charger, so it is great for maintaining the charge in all types of batteries, and it's ideal for extended RVing or dry camping. This will work with the lithium-ion, the sealed, the gel, and flooded lead acid batteries. The kit will include everything I have here on the table.
It includes this rigid 100 watt solar panel with the mounting brackets and the hardware for installation, comes with this 30 amp PWM solar controller, has an inline fuse kit, also comes with the MC4 extension cables, they're both 25 foot long, we have the black negative extension cable and the red positive, comes with other installation hardware, comes with the user's manual that'll describe how this goes together and how it operates. This is very easy to install and it is also expandable. This slim 100 watt solar kit can be expanded to increase your solar power output. We do sell a solar panel expansion kit to increase that solar power output by adding an additional panel to the system. That kit we do sell separately on our website, it's part number GP27MR, and it is listed on this product page as a related product.
The solar panel on this is a rigid black framed 100 watt monocrystalline solar panel and it uses the sunlight to charge RVs' batteries. On the very back here, you can see here's the MC4 connectors that'll plug into your extension cables to connect to your solar controller. Now, the peak power on this solar panel is 100 watts, maximum power voltage, 18.1 volts DC, maximum power current, 5.52 amps. This is a nice weatherproof and impact resistant anodized aluminum frame with tempered glass that'll stand up to the elements. Now, I did wanna talk about the flushed mount, 30 amp PWM solar controller that's included.
It is very easy to install, and it adjusts the solar panel output for a nice, quick consistent charge, has an automatic multistage smart charging system to help extend your battery life, and it has a nice digital display right here that'll monitor amperage, voltage, and battery capacity. It is also Bluetooth enabled, which means you can view and change your battery information from your smartphone or your tablet. We mentioned the cables, zoom back out here, the two cables, positive and negative, these are MC4 cables, they are extension cables, so they'll allow an extra 25 feet of distance between the panel and your solar controller. Few specs on this again, it is one solar panel, weight on that solar panel's about 14.3 pounds. The dimensions on this, overall length, one into the other is 60 1/4 inches long, the width of it, 14 inches wide, and the depth or thickness of it is 1 1/2 inches.
But that should do it for the review on this Go Power Slim 100 watts Solar Panel Charging System with the 30 amp PWM solar controller..
