This 12V inverter changes DC output from your RV batteries into AC power so you can plug in tools and appliances. Using pure sine wave technology, it creates clean power with low distortion, making it safe, efficient, and perfect for sensitive electronics like computers. Plus, the inverter can generate 3,500 starting watts and 2,000 running watts which is a great fit for small appliances and electronics.
The inverter includes 2 GFCI outlets for AC loads, positive and negative DC input terminals that connect to your batteries, and a port for a flush-mount remote (RED95RR - sold separately). It has a function switch that lets you select different output voltages (100V, 110V, 115V, and 120V) and frequencies (50Hz and 60Hz). This switch can also turn the power saver on and off. Additionally, the power saving adjustment dial near the function switch sets the input and wake up thresholds for the power saver.
The system includes a number of safety features. It offers protection from over/under voltage, overloading, and overcurrent. The inverter also uses a heat sink process to protect from extreme temperatures, and an internal cooling fan removes excess heat from the unit.
For additional safety, installing a fuse between the battery bank and the inverter will protect your equipment from power surges.
The inverter mounts inside your RV in a dry location with ventilation. It should be installed in close proximity to the battery bank, but not in the same compartment. The DC terminals are wired to the battery bank.
A flush-mount remote (RED95RR - sold separately) lets you monitor and control the inverter from inside your RV. Easily turn your inverter on and off without leaving your RV. It also has an LED which indicates the inverter's status.

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, I'm gonna take a look at this REDARC 12-volt 2,000 watt industrial pure sine wave inverter. Now this 2,000 watt industrial inverter provides AC power for your electronics and appliances. Basically, it'll use 12-volt DC power that's coming from RV's battery bank, and this inverter will change that DC output from RV batteries into AC power so that you can plug in tools and appliances. Does use the pure sine wave technology, which will replicate your household AC power.
So it allows you to run devices safely. It's perfect for use with sensitive electronics like HDTVs and computers. Now it does use multiple connection points that'll let you secure cables and external devices to your inverter. I do wanna zoom in and go over both ends or panels. So if we go to the front panel, which is right here, you can see they do offer a main switch right over here, that'll control it.
And then down here, you'll see the two GFCI AC outlets. And then right over here, you can see there's three LED indicator lights. Those LED indicators will show input voltage level, output load level, and fault conditions. Now the rear panel, if we go to the other end, on that side, you'll notice that has the two DC input terminals right here, has the chassis ground right down here at the bottom. And then up at the top here is a remote port.
They do offer a flush mount remote that'll let you monitor and control this inverter inside your RV. That remote we do sell separately on our website. It's listed on this product page as a related product and it is part number RED95RR. Just wanna pop up an insert to show you that's what that remote would look like with the cable. And, again, we sell that separately.
Now, the LED indicator lights, we have mentioned, right over here. They do show the input voltage level, the output load level and the fault conditions. Now it does also come with the DC cable connectors right here, there's two of those. These two of the DC input plastic covers, a black and a red one. Nice owner's manual to describe how it all hooks up and how it operates. Now this does offer built-in safety features to protect your RV's electrical system. We do also offer a fuse block installation kit that'll let you safely connect this inverter to your RV battery. And, again, it's not included. It is listed on this product page. This is compatible with the REDARC RedVision vehicle management system, part number RED89FR. A few specs on this, the application is for 12-volt battery systems. The rated power, when it's running, the rated power output is 2,000 watts. The starting or surge power output is 3,500 watts. Voltage on this, maximum power is 12 volts DC. Input is 10.5 to 16.5 volts DC, and the output is 100 to 120 volts AC. Does have a temperature range of operating range of a negative four degrees Fahrenheit to 104 degrees Fahrenheit and a storage range of a negative 22 degrees Fahrenheit to 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Few dimensions on this, the overall length from one end to the other is gonna be right at 17 and 7/16 inches long. The width on it, including the mounting flanges at the bottom, is 9 and 3/4 inches wide. And your overall height on this unit is right at 3 and 1/4 inches tall. The weight of it is about 11 and 1/2 pounds. But that should do it for the review on this REDARC 12-volt 2,000 watt industrial pure sine wave inverter.

It's a big beast, but seems to provide good clean power. Cooling fan runs quite a bit, so if sound is a concern, may be a good idea to install in an insulated enclosure
