Video Transcript for Review of SnapPad RV Jack Pads - BF 7 Jack Pads 7 Inch Jack Foot - SN38FR

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com And today we're gonna take a look at the SnapPad BF-7 jack pads. These four heavy-duty rubber pads are going to snap onto your travel trailer or Class B or C motor home's Quadra Bigfoot leveling jacks with four seven inch squared jack feet to make leveling faster and easier, eliminating the need to crawl under your camper to position plastic pads or wood blocks. Now it is recommended to measure your jacks to confirm compatibility as the foot size and shape of the jacks on your leveling system can vary from model to model and year to year. Now again, these are going to fit your seven inch square jack feet. And let me pull out my ruler here to give you some overall measurements. The overall diameter, as you can see we're sitting right at nine inches.

And then the height, we're sitting right at two inches tall. Now as you no doubt know the increased surface area of your leveling jack's feet is going to give you added support for your motor home or your trailer. And it's gonna help prevent sinking into soft ground, unlike the smaller metal feet. And these pads are made here in the USA of durable heavy-duty rubber that are made from recycled tires. And they're going to grip uneven terrain and prevent your metal feet from rusting or bending.

The built-in drains are going to release moisture to help prevent your jack feet from corroding and they're also going to serve as a cushion so your metal feet won't crack or chip away at your driveway. These are going to help dampen vibration from inside your camper that could cause shifting. And there's not going to be any need to remove or replace these pads or carry other jack pads or blocks around with you. Now these are going to be a simple one-time insulation. You're just going to line these up beneath your jack feet and lower each foot until the lip on the pad fully engages and locks into place.

You'll actually hear a snapping sound once the pads are secure on your jack feet. Insulation is permanent, so once you have the snap pad secured, you're never gonna have to worry about crawling under your camper to place pads again. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy.

    Thank you for joining me.

Customer service was great, wasn't sure I was looking at the right product for my rig based on the description so I decided to call. Was looking at the wrong one compared to the Snap Pad website, Alex directed me to the right product and number on there (etrailer) website and even took my order over the phone. They even arrived a day earlier that I expected.
Installation was pretty straight forward, some dish soap on each pad and lowered the jacks, one had to be redone it was not perfectly centered so it did not seat perfectly the base is octagon shaped with turned up ends not flat and round. Total of maybe 20 minutes for all four pads.
They seem like a very well made product and will last.

    A snap to install.

    by:

Snap Pads are extremely easy to install, and they provide my leveling jack feet with a cushion of protection while spreading the load over a wider area. Additionally, I get about an inch of additional jack height, which can mean the difference between having to put cribbing under the jacks or not when on an unlevel site.

Great customer service and very good pr oduct

Just installed today. No problems at all, they popped right on with the liquid soap placed around the edge where the jack pads meet the SnapPads. I do believe these will work as manufacturer advertised. Installed on 2009 RidgeView Super C by Forest River.

These things were simple to use helps keep the trailer stable by allowing a bigger circumference

    by:

Lost one first trip out. The other 3 seemed to work really well. Followed the exact instructions, not that they are complicated to put on. But had one disappear sadly. Trying to find if I can buy solo, might have to reach out to the manufacturer...will follow up after that...

I installed the pads over a year ago and have traveled many miles with them. They were easy to install, I followed the instructions and helpful hints from YouTube for installation. I have not had any issues with them, they stayed in place.

I love the concept and they work well when they stay on. However, they will not stay on my back Jack's. I've replaced the ba k ones twice. Will be going back-to-back 2 x 12 squares as thus is getting g expensive.

Hmmm...I do think it's a little odd that just the one keeps falling off...I know they tend to pop off if the jack foot is slightly concave - I wonder if that could be what is causing the issue for you?

@BrookeM I have no idea. The other rear one has now disappeared also. I believe it has to do with rough roads, and bouncing. I have now gone through the 4 spares I bought. Anyway, 2 x 12 will do from now on in the back. Front, no problems.
