Adco Polypropylene Cover Installed

Summer is over, and you're worried about your pop-up camper or trailer getting dirty and damaged in storage during light rainstorms, mild sun, and other moderate weather conditions. When you're storing your popup in the south or another sunny spot, this durable cover will protect it. When you keep your popup covered, you are less likely to need to wash and wax it at the start of the camping season. And if you want to trade your popup in for a newer model later down the road, this cover will help maintain that resale value.

Adco Polypropylene Cover Material

The non-abrasive, 4-ply polypropylene construction is UV-treated so it won't crack or fade when exposed to harmful UV rays. It also protects your popup against mild rain, dirt, and wind so that it doesn't develop black streaks and corrosion on the sides and roof over time.

How to Measure Your Pop-Up Camper or Trailer

Measuring Your Pop-Up Camper

To determine if this cover will work for you, measure the overall length of your popup from the very front to the rear bumper. The cover isn't meant to fit over the tongue of your popup, so don't include it in your measurements. Then measure the overall height from the bottom of the popup to the top. Do not include any AC units, vents, or antennas in your height measurement, as the cover is already designed to accommodate them.

Securing the Cover onto Your Camper or Trailer

Adco Polypropylene Cover Straps

First unroll the cover and carefully spread it evenly around your popup, making sure you don't pull too hard and tear the fabric. The cover is labeled with "front" and "rear" to help you position the cover correctly on your RV.

Once the cover is in place, wrap the elasticized hem on the cover around the bottom corners of your popup to remove any excess slack in the material. Thread the included cinch rope through the built-in grommets on the cover and pull on them until the cover fits snugly around the contours of your popup. And then toss the weighted straps underneath your popup to the other side and buckle them together, which keeps the cover secure and prevents it from flapping in the wind and damaging the paint job.

by:

As is always the case with this company, arrived quickly and accurately and at great price. Other than installing them for me, what else can you ask for? Great web site and email notifications on shipment etc..

by:

Great cover, does the job

by:

I was surprised how fast the cover got here. Very happy with the product and how timely you correspondence was from ordering to shipment to making sure everything was correct!

by:

Great product. Held up though high winds, storms and snow.

by:

The cover didn't last a year, it is very brittle/rotten. I will never buy another one from them.

by:

Useless. Leaked within the first month and just north worth more than a basic tarp which would most likely last longer.

by:

The cover, while thin, is strong and provides good protection from the sun and allows any rain or condensation to evaporatr. Easy to fit and secure at a great price!

by:

After one year I will say I’m impressed with this cover. We get pretty tough winters with a lot of snow but also rain and ice and it held up very well.

  • Best Cover For An Aliner Expedition Pop-Up Camper
Hi Brian! Having a cover that is breathable is definitely important. If it isn't, mold can form and you really don't want that. That said, if you are in a dryer area of the country, it is a little less important than if you are in a more humid part of the country. The Camco UltraGuard # CAM45764 you found will work in either scenario, so it is a good option. The layers of spun bond polypropylene are still breathable so this is a good option for sure. The Adco # 290-2894 is a little more...

  • Recommended Cover for a 2006 Fleetwood Niagara Pop Up Camper
I recommend going with an Adco cover for your 2006 Fleetwood Niagara pop up camper. If you live in a climate that is mostly wet then you want the SFS Aquashed # 290-12294 but if your climate has a good mixture of moisture and sun (or is just sunny) then you want the Adco Polypropylene RV Cover # 290-22894 instead. These are the best covers out there and will fit pop ups up to 16' long. The SFS Aquashed measures 192" long x 85" wide x 54" tall while the Adco Polypropylene RV Cover 192"...

  • Pop-Up Camper Trailer Cover Recommendation for a 15 Foot Long Camper with A/C and 59 Inch Walls
Is the 15 foot measurement the length of the trailer body and not including the tongue? If not we need that measurement before we can pick out the right size cover. Assuming the 15 foot measurement is correct I've got a couple covers to recommend but none of the ones we carry fully cover your trailer's high walls. The closest options are ADCO # 290-2894 polypropylene cover for trailers measuring 14-16 foot in length. Polypropylene pop-up camper cover works best for short-term storage...

  • Recommended Cover for 14 Foot Long Cargo Trailer
For a cover that can be used on a cargo trailer that is 7 x 14 you can use a pop-up camper cover like the Adco Polypropylene RV Cover for Pop-Up Camper - Up to 16' Long - Gray # 290-2894; this will work on a trailer that is up to 42" tall. This would be a much better solution than the Adco SFS AquaShed Cover for Bumper Pull Trailer - Up to 14' Long - Gray # 290-46003 as long as you don't have an enclosed utility trailer. If you've got an enclosed trailer, then the # 290-46003 you were looking...

Your 2018 Aliner is about 18 foot in length including the front tongue. For that reason I would suggest a 16-foot cover like the ADCO # 290-2894 RV storage cover. Polypropylene pop-up camper cover works best for short-term storage in all climates. Lightweight fabric protects against moderate sun, dust, and water. Contoured fit conforms to the shape of your camper. Cinch ropes and buckles ensure a secure fit.

The length I'm seeing for your 2016 Forest River Rockwood Freedom 1950 Pop-Up Camper while closed is showing as 15.25' so I recommend the Adco Polypropylene RV Cover for Pop-Up Camper # 290-2894. Because this cover is made of a durable polypropylene material it's rated for use in all climates.

The open width of the trailer is 109 inches but the closed width is 89 inches. The covers will have some slack to compensate for the few inches of width difference.
