Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Frontrunner Pro Water Tank with a steel tap and it holds 5.3 gallons. So folks, this 5.3 water tank with tap lets you carry and dispense drinking water on your overland adventure. You could keep it like this, and maybe when you're storing it or driving with it like this. Basically, you're gonna take this cap off.
You're gonna thread in this metal tap here and it's gonna be great steel tap. It's gonna be great for dispensing liquids, water. And you just simply, if you wanna lock it, you can lock it, put this up and turn it. And that in turn, is gonna turn the ball valve inside of there, open or closed, depending on what you're needing. And then you have an option to take this off and maybe put on a garden hose attachment or something if need be.
Now again, it can lock with the small accessory lock that would be sold separately. And the spot let's you add a 1/2 inch hose. Now, this is made of a durable polyethylene. It's tough, long-lasting, and food safe. And it is BPA plastic, or BPA-free plastic.
And you can simply twist off the top, as you know, just to fill it up. Very simple design, very simple to use. It has a nice black powder coat on the steel tap. Now, as far as the overall dimensions, 22 inches long, about 13 13/16 of an inch tall and right at 6 1/2 inches wide. Now, going back to those fittings, they're what's called a 1/2 inch BSP.
And what that means is that fitting uses a British standard pipe thread, so they're not compatible with fittings that use NPT threads or national pipe threads. So you may need a BSP-to-NPT adapter to add an aftermarket hose or tap. So that simply means this will screw into here no problem. But as far as this connection here, you may possibly need an adapter of some sort. So keep that in mind. Well folks, that will wrap it up for our quick look together today. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
Looking good
