Made for the adventurer, this platform rack's large, flat surface lets you carry all types of cargo and gear. Installs to factory mounting points specific to your vehicle. Extreme Mounting System allows you to roll with your hard top on or off.
Removing the roof should not mean leaving your cargo setup behind. The Extreme mounting system bolts to the front pillars and body structure at the front and to the roll bar at the rear, letting your rack stay in place with the hard top installed or with no roof at all. You can change how your Jeep is configured while keeping the platform ready for gear.
A full-roof platform can make quick roof changes more complicated. This mounting system leaves room to remove and replace your Freedom Panels while the rack remains installed. You can switch to open-air driving without unloading and removing the entire platform first.
Camping and tailgating gear rarely fits neatly across two crossbars. The 93-1/4" long x 56" wide platform gives boxes, bags, carriers, and other equipment a large, flat cargo area. Tall foot rails also leave room for a Front Runner under-rack prep table or camp table (FR87EJ - sold separately), keeping another useful piece of gear tucked beneath the platform.
One trip may call for storage boxes, while the next includes a kayak or other outdoor equipment. Slats can be adjusted or removed for your cargo and roof-access needs, and additional slats add deck space or mounting points (sold separately). Integrated T-slots in the slats and frame accept axe holders, kayak carriers, storage boxes, and other accessories (sold separately), letting your setup change with the trip.
Rustproof aluminum with a black powder coat finish handles outdoor exposure, while high-strength steel mounting components and L-shaped front and rear slats reinforce your platform. The low-profile design and included wind deflector reduce wind noise and drag, making highway travel quieter and more comfortable.
This kit cannot be used with the Mojave Edition, a soft top roof, or the Sky One-Touch Power Top. It suits most raised air intake and snorkel installations, but you will need to confirm your setup with the applicable air intake or snorkel fitment guide. Verifying those details first keeps the rack matched to your Jeep before installation begins.
