This bolt package includes a set of four replacement bolts, 5/16" x 2-1/4", used in many Yakima watersport and bike carriers.

These are 5/16” which don’t match the Yakima replacement hex keys (1/4”). Yes, they are marked on the site as 1/4” and I ordered them along with the 5/16” replacement bolts only figuring out the problem when they arrived. However, it seems etrailer would stock both sizes match instead of the tow component parts in non-matching sizes. Fortunately, I had 4 stainless steel 5/16” nuts lying around and was able to insert them into the hex key without problem. Poor site management by etrailer.
I have an "experienced" Yakima rack system with an original basket case, lockjaw rack and tandem rack...more experienced than the average Yakima employee these days and while Yakima tried to help their website is pretty crummy and the customer service staff don't recognize the older products. Etrailer on the other hand has a great website, I found all the little things I needed to refurbish my components and the shipping is super-fast and very reasonable. I ordered bolts, hex keys and components for my railgrab towers and my system is good as new.
Can't recommend them highly enough.
etrailer always has just the replacement and/or modifications parts I am looking for. Used these along with the Replacement 5/16" Hex Key Set for Yakima Roof Mounted Bike Carriers to make installing and removing my Raptor bike racks easier.
Yakima makes a good quality product which always works as advertised. etrailer.com has one of the largest inventory of Yakima parts that I have ever seen. If etrailer doesn't have it Yakima doesn't make it. Got good on line help.
