Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we take a look at this replacement cleat for the Yakima Exo Gear Warrior Basket. Now this part here will replace one of the two cleats that are needed for installation of that Yakima EXO Gear Warrior Cargo Basket to your vehicle. Now that cargo basket we do sell separately, it goes by part number of 8002724. Basically, this cleat here is what'll install to the bottom of the cargo basket.
Now the hardware is not included. You can use the hardware you already have, or we do sell the hardware separately. And again, there would be two of these that would be installed. This is just for a quantity of one. After installation, the cleats are gonna drop into the rack arm grooves on the EXO system, and it tightens in place with the hand knobs on that EXO system.
So what's nice is this will provide a tool-free connection of that cargo carrier to the EXO system. But that should do it for a look at the replacement cleat for the Yakima EXO Gear Wire Basket.
Fits perfectly.
Would have been nice if the screws/bolts came with it. Otherwise, the Cleats are what I needed/wanted.
